Opening positions changed so they cross centre ice at an angle instead directly between the barriers as in before. Program is strong, and clean, and high technical levels that will push Chock/Bates.

I'm definitely feeling cranky at this point of the morning after not getting much sleep due to the toothache, plus hating the RDs for the most part this season. There's not much that I like about that RD at all and it's very much a matter of personal taste - never was a big Madonna fan, her costume is awful.

Skating fairly slowly, it’s clear that they can accelerate but aren’t really doing that, simple lift, plenty of pose breaks. Some deep edges but not doing anything with them. R/A were probably faster. Did not work for me today

I had a stylist who discovered figure skating and was obsessed with Lysecek during the Vancourver Os. He was a dancer. I told him, no, no You have to watch this ice dancer and introduced him to Cizeron. He never looked back.

It wasn't a "fake" call - the rink in Helsinki isn't as wide as the ones in Angers or here, that's what made the difference in the opening choreo step.

Strongest rhythm dance of the season for Madison/Evan. Great performance level throughout with the caveat that the technical issues like the lack of speed in many of the technical elements remains.

It's the 120bpm requirement - it makes ALL of the teams look slower than usual.
