Allison's dress is pretty, but I have yet to figure out how it goes with the program.

In the pattern step you can see Alison really doesn't do much in terms of difficult transitions between the requirements nor do they really skate that close together in hold. I don't feel like they ever get oomph out of any actual edges but the name of the game is the big flashy rotational lift and the choreographic step that really has no intricacy at all.

100% get why they are audience friendly, but still vastly overmarked in the scheme of the world of dance.

The presentation level is off the charts with ReedAmbru and this RD is one of the few that works this season. Give them all the points.

A total vibe in this program and I'm completely buying it, but he IMO is really moving like he's ready to retire and his body is just barely hanging on. So much more wooden and almost lock-kneed than he ever was before. It's not going to affect the levels if he isn't wobbling all over his blade, but the movement just isn't what it once was.

I really don't like Piper's costume. Everyone's touched on the odd peplum, but the color is also super-distracting to me. The white doesn't compliment her complexion and hair coloring. I hope they come up with better costumes for the Olympics.
