2023 Four Continents tickets

I'm out. :( I decided it was too many days to take off in a short period of time, esp since I decided to go to Nats on Tues instead of Wed. 4CC is right after (like the day after) our big trade show that is all-hands on deck. My boss was OK with it, but I still feel bad, plus the show is 2 weeks earlier next year and could have the same situation with Nats (anyone know the dates?), so I would feel doubly bad if I took off 2 years in a row.

And since USFS waited so long to give us any ticket info, airfare home has gone way up and the Doubletree is now blocked on those dates on my credit card rewards site.

So I'll be watching C/B, Ilia, Shoma and M/K (I believe K/F are doing Art on Ice?) from home.

Thank you all! I just booked the La Quinta In case anyone is looking for a walking partner. There is a count down going for ticket sales: noon tomorrow eastern time And I hope they are not too pricey. Hoping the weather holds too….is that too much to ask?

Anyone have thoughts about the camera policy? The last time I was at this event, at this venue, Emily Hughes was competing and I got my 70-200 lens in until the last day. I have smaller options, but camera policies have gotten stricter. If it’s not worth carrying it, I’d prefer to leave it at home.

What are people's thoughts on whether or not this event will sell out? I don't want to buy tickets until I'm sure we can come which may be a month or so from now.

It’s reportedly a big arena, lots of seats, but remember that Japan and Korea will most likely be sending their top stars. if you are not fussy about where you sit, I am sure you will be fine.

Thanks. I did not notice the note on the map.
So seats on the judge side will not be on sale?
The side on sale could be the judges side...I was just randomly speculating. :) it looks like there are a couple rows ahead of the seats on sale, could be the judge platform?

It does seem odd to only sell on one side so the other side may be going on sale on Thurs.

ETA: @YukiNieve The seat map has been updated. The grayed-out side is the judges side and the skaters entrance is to the right of the seats currently for sale.

Most likely the seats (grayed out) are reserved for coaches, officials and other VIPS in the very center section above the camera block out. The seats to the left and right of center are probably already sold to tour groups from the US, Canada and Japan. Just my guess, but judging from past experience attending these kinds of events.

Possibly. I was thinking that since they put tix on sale so late and may not be expecting a lot of people to attend, they want all the spectators on the other side to look good for TV (since that's the side that gets shown).

That could also be true! Last time I went to a competition in Colorado Springs, so many athletes were not used to the elevation and were extremely tired by the end of their programs. Anything can happen.

If anyone is interested in purchasing an all session ticket in section 106 row C at $258 please pm me. I'm trying to get mine but it only allows to buy 2 tickets (in pair).

I got lucky, I didn't have a problem buying just 1 ticket - but I chose one of the side sections because, well, I haven't sat there before during a competition and wanted to try something new.

I bought my individual events tickets last night and there are still lots of tickets available! The prices were cheaper than expected. With tax, my tickets turned out to be less than $36 each. For some events, the closest seats in the middle 2 sections are sold out but there are still plenty of great seats left. I'm really looking forward to watching a live skating competition again!

I haven't bought a ticket yet, and I think I'm going to cancel my hotel reservation. It's in driving distance but I am really apathetic about skating at the moment.

Oh, keep your hotel reservation. It doesn't cost anything and gives you the opportunity to change your mind!
