I was in church and missed the junior women's free but it looks like Landry had a good skate to take the win over Théroux.

Bronsard/Richmond: FS 97.46, total 158.81

I wasn't quick enough to write down Campbell and Fawcett's scores, but I think their total was 136 point something.

And the stream started freezing badly, so apparently I'm going to be watching replays of Hensen/Lickers until I die.

Weird the stream stopped for me while waiting for Brossard and Richmond's marks (whenever I cast the dailymotion streams it goes back about an hour or two so I have to forward to go live). I refreshed and it said pre novice free dance up coming and it won't rewind. Oh well...

I am watching straight from the app on my Apple TV and had no issues. It’s much better than when I have to stream from my phone to the TV.

Miclette had a couple of falls (triple toe that was supposed to be a three jump combo and later on her second triple flip) but did some other really nice jumps. I really enjoyed her step sequence right into her final spin. Not bad for her first senior free skate. Tech tracker was mid 50s when the program ended.

ETA 109.24, 55.04 tech.

Foster seemed to run out of gas at the end of her program. She opened with a gorgeous triple lutz and landed a nice triple flip, fell hard on the triple loop and stood up on her 3toe 3toe combo, but likely UR like it was called in the short. She doubled some jumps later in the program. This will likely put her behind Miclette. I hope they give her a senior international though.

ETA: 90.42, tech was only 39.49 so some downgrades I'd say.

What link are you using to watch? I tried the links for the short but no luck, same with today?

It's all over now. I just got the links from Patinage Quebec's dailymotion page. They haven't uploaded any archives though.

Ruiter skated really well to a cover of "do you want to dance with somebody." Triple flip triple toe combo, triple lutz solo jump late in the program. She looks great.

Almost caught her. Tuned in just in time for her score. :(

Not a bad skate by Kaiya, 102.02 in the free, little shaky on her triples and hand down on the lutz. She is growing into such a pretty young woman. She needs some mileage on this program but the potential is there.

What is the title/composer of the piano piece she uses?
Found the answer on Twitter - Kaiya Ruiter's FS music is "Inspiration" by Florian Christi.

No Lia/Trent or that was the next sectional?

They haven't actually entered any competitions (that we know of). Skate Ontario required skaters intending to compete in qualifying events this season to register that intent by a certain date back in August, for tracking purposes. That list that Lia/Trennt appeared on was just that, not an entry list for a specific competition.

That could mean that they're planning to enter sectionals in November, but it could also just mean that they just put themselves on the list "just in case", but actually they're not ready and/or they're not even confirmed as a pair. I don't think we have any further info at this point, unless I missed some news. (She has been very busy with singles competitions this fall, so hard to imagine that she's had time to train pairs with a new partner as well, but who knows.)

Yeah, Makes sense. I haven’t seen her post anything about it either other than an Instagram story with Trent and Maddie.

From the sounds of this tweet, Skate Ontario plans to livestream a number of events, so maybe it's worthwhile to start a general fall/winter competition thread that would include the various Sectionals?
Please go right ahead! :) I know we usually have a separate competition thread for Challenge in December.
