Boy, that was bad...Med even messes the cartwheel. Worst of all, she’s lackadaisical. Blah.
Trusova absolute Queen of the day.

She needs to go to Kazakova/Reviya for a little training.Given she'd probably get a fall deduction for the mishap, wonder if that's the last we'll ever see of it?
It's not really that risky, once you've been trained up. We see lots of skaters do moves like that.Sadly the cartwheel has to go, too risky and she will need every point.
Yes, and then she missed out several further jumps...AN OPENING JUMP WAS LANDED! Not just a jump but a combo! Go Janny!

I guess it is easy to land the first jump, when he was the onl one who didn’t try a quad or 3A.Yes, we noticed!
So glad someone said this...Boy, that was bad...Med even messes the cartwheel. Worst of all, she’s lackadaisical. Blah.
Would you agree that this time Trusova was more prepared than Scherbakova and Valieva? She did land more quads then them.So glad someone said this...![]()

Well, in comparison with Scherbakova who made only one attempt and fell and therefore did not land any quad at all?No, Trusova was less prepared than expected. Her original complaint was that she was not allowed to do 4 or 5 quads and a 3A in one programme, and that she was failing half of her quads in competition.
Well..... now she had no 3A's and only 3 quads, of which she fell on one, and had a hand-down on the second. That is worst than what she had before.
Shcherbakova had different goals, other than quads. She grew 5 cm in a few months and had to learn to manage her regular jumps.Well, in comparison with Scherbakova who made only one attempt and fell and therefore did not land any quad at all?
They all have the same goal - to win the gold medals. They may have different strategies how to achieve the goal, but the goal is the same. And today Trusova would win if this was a competition.Shcherbakova had different goals, other than quads. She grew 5 cm in a few months and had to learn to manage her regular jumps.

Interesting when you think about the 9-year age gap between Tukt and Valieva. Tukt isn't as bendy but there is a charisma that's lacking with Valieva. And despite 7 years of competition at the senior level and injuries and all, Tukt's basic triples are smoother and easier. That good basic technique of Tukt's has proven its value over and over.
