Newly added to USFS' ISP and listed as alternates here: Sarah Jung and Angela Ling/Caleb Wein.
My guess is that Murdock and Ales/Tsarik likely are provisional assignments depending on how they perform in Lake Placid (USFS' International Assignments page is not updated yet with names for JGP POL).

Will RUS switch Kanysheva still in?
She looked decent at the test skates.
What is going on here?

The ladies field here is crazy: Liu, Sinitsyna, Kromykh, Kurakova, Kawabata, Wi - all could realistically medal depending on the day. I'm intrigued about Kawabe who reportedly is landing 3A.

This JGP ice dance season is extremely boring for me

I lose track of which Russian skater/team is where as they do so many changes. I just wait and see who shows up at the first four events. They frequently use the last three for the 2nd event of the medalists at the previous four. You really need a spreadsheet to keep up with all the manipulations and machinations going on. I'm getting a little worried that K/I have injured themselves. :fragile:

RusFed is obviously uncertain what's going to happen with Ushakova/Nekrasov, due to the latter's need for surgery. They might end up crammed into the last two events (or, if recovery is really good, swapped into one of the earlier ones; I know they're a sub for Chelyabinsk, an event that clearly they were previously supposed to headline), but if they end up not making it back at all, that really opens things up in the final two. Other than Kazakova/Reviya's second event, all of the major teams from last year's Worlds and JGP will have had two assignments through JGP Poland.

Yeah, I don't think it's great sign that they currently aren't listed for anything, with only one JPG with pairs left. They are subs, so they still could be switched in, but still.

And their free skate at the test skates looked like a world title program. Of course, they can still go to Russian junior nationals and worlds, but I wanted a JGPF title for them...:wuzrobbed

I'm still hoping that they will be subbed into the last two events. The switches at JGP Russia were probably done after the entries for the JGP Poland. Clearly the FS wasn't ready at the test skates.....

On USFS' newly updated International Assignments page, Anastasiia Smirnova & Danylo Siianytsia have been added as the one pair for JGP #4 in RUS (this will be their international debut together) and everyone on the ISU entries list, except for Emilia Murdock, is now listed for JGP #5 in POL (1st JGP of the season for Dinh Tran and the 2nd JGP for Liu, Dunk, Nguyen/Kolesnik & Ales/Tsarik).
