They truly had a breakout season. Some good timing and luck played into that, but it's also testament to their hard work that they shot up in the standings this decisively. They have also been very consistent all year. Their mental strength and ability to handle pressure is very commendable for such a young team. They gave USFS good reason to back them up.Huge congrats to these two! At the GPF I just had a gut feeling they would be on the podium at the post-Olympic Worlds, and it actually happened. They have impressed from the very start, but this season was just truly next level. I love both their stories as people, too, such compelling skaters.
I feel horribly for Lilah and Lewis, and also so happy for Emilea and Vadym.

Such an interesting (and amazing) year for them. ... Obviously the judges are blown away, this is not your normal slow and painful rise. ...
I'm not surprised that they were offered the entire tour. They are very much favorites among fans. Emi has also said that they had prior commitments (a family wedding, plans with Benoit, etc) which were difficult to back out from.Emi shared on live that they had actually been invited to do the entirety of the stars on ice tour, but turned that down in order to have some rest/vacation and more time to train the golden waltz.
And they said Emily Bratti and Ian Somerville are going on vacation with them. Love that! Also, it’s nice seeing the camaraderie between skaters. Both Amber and Luke Wang were in the comments.
