Was thrilled to see how ticked off Savannah was at tonight’s vote. She’s a good player but has a mean girl vibe to me. Sorry to see Nate go, but at least he’s on the jury.

Still enjoying season.
So glad Shannon is gone - so annoying.
I am impressed with MC - she is smart and atheletic - but not sure about her social game. I think she is my fav, but feel she may not last.
Sage - thought I was going to hate her, but she is entertaining now and has good insight - still not sure if rooting for her, but at least want her around long term.
Part of me is rooting for the trio of Sage, Stephen and Jawan
Nate - nice guy - but maybe too nice?
Shannon - smart girl liked her at first - but she is becoming annoying
Soph & Alex - I was rooting for them, but don't see much of them lately - off my radar.
Other Sophie - seems good.

Sage annoys me. Similar to the way Sandra always annoyed me. Which means she will probably win.

Sage is, for all her talk about being genuine and open, quite calculating. I read an interview with her about her refusal to hug Shannon and, among other things, she said that she told people all that weird stuff about herself because a) being openly weird allows the other weird people to bond with you; b) being openly weird makes non-weird people underestimate you and c) being openly weird makes people focus on others so you can get a good read on how they are interacting.

She is a therapist, after all.

Poor Soph must be really miserable with all those big bites and scrapes. She looks really tired.

I could not believe the way Savannah leaped on that key ring. Positively puma-esque. Riz-god should watch his back--although I think he is the same, just maybe lower key (which is an unexpected trait in someone who has named himself a god).

Well I'm glad Steven made it because I like him. But I also liked Nate so

Savannah can go next. I don't like her. What did she think she was gonna do with that key ring when she didn't have the box the unlock it? I guess it would have prevented MC from opening the box because I sure never would have given her the box if she got those keys from me and wouldn't give them to me. I wonder if MC would have been allowed to just pound the hell outta that box and break it open if Savannah got those keys and would not give them back to her. That could have been some fun drama.

My soul was crushed a little seeing Savannah win immunity. I want her out so bad. It's a shame that it came down to MC, I wish she hadn't used her idol previously, but I'm glad Christina has it now. Interesting advantage that Savannah won. Wish they had done their plan to remove Rizo, because how many chances are they going to get to get out a hard player with an idol? Liking Juwon more now as well as Alex, Sage and Soph.

Savannah is following the typical mean girl arc. Be mean to everyone, befriend the other hot girl, become the perceived alpha of an alliance, feel threatened, have meltdown about how nobody likes you, become pleasant once you are humbled, turn into raging mean girl again once you regain power. Repeat?

So has Savannah, or so the rumor says. It's funny to see them all talking about how Sophie is a challenge beast and see her beaten by a completely dominant Savannah twice in a row. When will they see Savannah as a challenge beast?

I do not understand voting Alex out instead of going after Rizo as they planned. Rizo has an idol. Every time you let that go, he is guaranteed to be there. Alex, OTOH, could go at any time.

Interesting that Soph is keeping her advantage hidden even from her alliance. Smart girl.

I am hoping the editing that is making me hate Savannah means she doesn't win. Juwon is getting played like a fiddle, but I am surprised Jade seems to be falling into Rizo's trap too.

They are showing snippets of what Rizo is doing, but it must be much more behind the scenes. At this point, I think Sage et al are in real trouble.

I hate when it gets to this part of the season, when I know darn well who they should be targeting and why, and they don't! Or, they do, but choose to do other things. Rizo needs out, and so does Savannah, or they're going all the way. So yeah, let's all vote for freaking Alex, who has no shot to win anyway. Idiots. I agree, Jawan and Sage are being played really good right about now, Stephen as well.

Yes, and exactly as was discussed at that one tribal council a few seasons back.

Jawan took his blindside really well. He seems like a very nice guy.

Sage is really angry, but...I think her ship sailed a couple of tribals ago.

Everyone looks really skinny, but no one but Jawan even thought of going for the rice--and I think he was thinking more about feeding people than eating himself (but that can be strategic as well as thoughtful). I just read a piece that said production is thinking about not given them any rice at all in the future or at least not offering it at challenges because no one in the new school game is interested in giving up immunity for any reason.

Yellow Sophie was really shocked at her ouster, but she should know that if people think you are playing the middle, you have to go. It had just happened with Alex. Blue Sophie is going to get caught is she keeps talking to people.

I just read a piece that said production is thinking about not given them any rice at all in the future or at least not offering it at challenges because no one in the new school game is interested in giving up immunity for any reason.

I've never understood why production thinks starving the contestants is better for the show. We saw in season 2 what happened when everyone was completely malnourished -- they had no energy to even leave the camp, their hair was falling out, etc. I really doubt people are watching Survivor because they want to see people suffer. IMO the show is better when the contestants get enough food for their brains to function so they can strategize and so they have enough energy to go off searching the jungle, having secret meetings, etc.

I feel like when they shortened the seasons from 39 days to 26 they were worried people would think it was "too easy" and somehow came up with the idea to massively restrict food as a way to prove how difficult the show was. Maybe others disagree, but I don't care what they're eating.

I don't agree with the withholding all food thing either. Like don't give them 3 squares a day obviously, but at a minimum at least the rice should be standard throughout the whole game, even if it's limited to a certain amount per day, and then they have to forage for any fruit or fish for other food.

So glad Stephen made it around that island! Has anyone seen any articles saying how long it took him to do that, because that overhead picture of the island made it look huge!
