The original video was so controversial at the time, hopefully it doesn’t still piss off devout Catholics: https://youtu.be/79fzeNUqQbQ?si=CdhRugguvkvzGpW2

Her FS dress, not her SP one.Amber and Isabeau free program dresses all have shades of red to them.
OK the next US American woman has a red free program dress joins them on the Olympic team, oh wait doesn’t Alysa have red in her dress? Black and red. OK I’m already for this.

I think it’s fine. Love the program!I said this in the pbp thread, but she needs to fix the music edit at the end. It doesn't work at all.
Looking at this photo, the silver thing appears to be a set of lipsSpeaking of the red dresses, I like Isabeau's new SP dress. Her costumes have improved over the last year. There is one odd silver bit by her left hip that I found a little distracting. But, overall, I really like it.
Nah, it's just a silver sequined applique in the shape of a large, winged brooch.Looking at this photo, the silver thing appears to be a set of lips

Imma continue thinking it’s literal bizous. It’s more fun that way.Nah, it's just a silver sequined applique in the shape of a large, winged brooch.

It was actually Kevin's SP music edit that I found jarring. (Sorry ANL! I love Kevin and thought the footwork sequence was fun, but I did not like that music edit.
If Caroline and Michael would just take out "I'm too sexy," their edit would be just fine and they are far from the only team/competitor with a janky music edit this competitive season.I’m just not a fan of any music edits in general. if I was a figure skater I will stick to one song and one song only and that’s it.
As far as the gaga piece Judas which is the piece I’m advocating for Alysa, he fully became gaga in the choreography.
For instance, I’m watching Caroline and Michael right now and those are not good edits in my opinion at all.
But Gaga could be a really good choice for Alysa
Actually, I this the same costume she used a couple of years ago?
Congratulations to Amber Glenn for winning Nebelhorn 2025!

She looked to be in pain at the end, the steps looked uncomfortable at times, but that could be why she backed off just a bit.Amber made that a lot closer than that needed to be skipping the 2nd double axel on her triple jump combo. I really wish she wouldn't do that because it is a big point combo and that is what usually goes wrong when she is having a bad skate. That landing of the first double axel didn't look to have a problem at all.
This is a man's world is always a song that makes me ill, but Ava looks great and I really love the step sequence, especially the beginning.

That would be an acceptable excuse if this was a new program, but seeing as it's a repeat...I don’t remember seeing that completed in its fullness until Japan in April last season, correct?
I'm not sure when she did it with this program in particular since all of them kind of look the same but the goal has been for two double axel after a loop, flip or lutz for years now I think.I don’t remember seeing that completed in its fullness until Japan in April last season, correct?

Why in the world should she peak in September?
ITA. Amber herself said that she wants to take it more slowly because she ran out of gas at the end.
I think she looks great, especially since that is her approach and she said the other day that she's not feeling great on her right side. (Her loop is probably her least consistent jump anyway, but I wonder if the right hip problem contributed this week.) Yes, it's a program she has competed with a lot, but the fact that she didn't pop in either program is great because popping is not uncommon for her. Plus, she beat out some other very talented skaters who also were skating very well for this early season.
Also, I love the new costume - except for that piece of fabric hanging off by her wrist. I guess she and Isabeau agreed on red for the short and blue for the long.I love blue, but don't care much for Isabeau's dress.
I wonder if Isabeau should rethink doing the spread eagle right into the loop in the free skate. It really doesn't seem worth the risk. She very rarely pops, and that pop cost her a medal. Of course, it could simply be that it's a new program and early in the season, so she isn't comfortable with it yet. I realize I'm being picky. She still came in third in the free skate with the pop, and she didn't fall in either program. I think I was happier with it than she was.She looked a bit bummed and thoughtful when she finished.
I think Isabeau and Amber look great for so early in the season. I'm glad to see that Isabeau's injury seems to be in the past. I hope that Amber's hip problem is something minor and that she will be 100% soon.
