Skating to upbeat, fast music as a cover for sloppy skating, and lack of extension only works if the elements are clean.

I love this program. So many skaters can't meet the mood and style of James Brown. Frangipani focuses it on fun and joy. This program would be so good if clean.

Sigh about the mistakes.

On the road but just saw first group results. The U.S. needs a high level negotiation with Italy and send them a men’s spot in exchange for a dance spot!
Italy only has 1 dance spot. I don't think they're giving it up, even for a 3rd men's spot, lol.

All I see is a blurry pan of the audience, oh wait, I think I saw a bit of the skater's head in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

And GRA in the upper right corner now is the only part of the screen I see of the kiss and cry,

(trying a reboot of the Peacock worked - I can see Kao now. So weird!)

I think the 4T will get called to some degree of under. The blade definitely stuck and scraped on the landing.

I still love Kao's skating so much, but he's really gone a bit haywire since he's been dealing with injuries. He landed exactly nothing in practice at Skate America last year and then skated a clean competition.

Hmmmmm... That wasn't terrible for Kao, but it was definitely a little rough.

RIGHT on the music with the 4S landing.

I don't care. I have a soft spot for Nika after seeing him watching allll the skating between Skate America and Worlds. He sat by himself even at Skate America (right in front of me) and was so into it. He's been Mr 4th place for so long, now's his time to step up. And he actually has reallllllly good foundations but they kinda disappear in the programs. This is a much better effort from him all-around. I actually REALLY liked it.

High 90's should be incoming. And that team medal is looking better and better for Georgia that I mentioned already two seasons ago.

Egadze is 23 and looks 37. Maybe Eteri could prescribe him some Rogaine?

Good jumps, but every movement looks so labored with him.
