Do we know that is actually the case or Isabeau wanted to shake off some rust at a zero pressure event/skate at the Olympic venue?

Also, Isabeau is half-Italian, and has said in interviews that she is looking forward to skating there. She may have asked for the assignment, for all we know!

There’s an international for juniors and novices at her home club the same weekend, so I’m guessing she’ll be there unless she has an injury or illness.

Well, she does have an open Sr B slot for points. She's going to lose a chunk of points from the 2022-23 season & with last season's injury, she needs everything she can grab at this year to make up for that.

Would not expect one since the USFS didn't pony up for streaming rights with Cranberry Cup, John Nicks or LPIDI.

Jr Pairs - 8th-10th (pretty sure that Kovar/McPike have already split, FWIW)

The past couple of years, I thought Lindsay just needed a major reboot, including coaching change. So much unrealized potential there. I hope she is not done with skating, but is either taking time off to heal, or take university classes, or something fruitful. I believe her mother is originally from Dominican Republic, so it's possible she is thinking of representing that country in the future...which means she'd need to sit out a year.

I think Clare Seo might have just graduated from high school, so possibly she wants to move on permanently, or head for college and do lighter training and then get back to competition later. She's only 18.

True about DR. I thought they already had an ice skating federation but I am in error, there is none. So that's unlikely. Yes, Lindsay may be heading for university and retiring for good or temporarily taking a break.

Wasn't Lindsay pretty injured last season? Or am I remembering incorrectly? I thought they talked about her skating with pain of some sort at Nationals.
