I am so freaking happy for Andrew Torgashev! He's having a great season and skating so well. And now he cannot be denied a spot on that World team. Boston baby!

I usually prefer Camden's skating over Naumov's, but I found myself rooting for Naumov to be ahead of Camden. Camden's long program just doesn't do it for me this season, even today when he skated it better. I'd prefer Naumov to go to Worlds.

I hope Ilia goes for the seven quads at Worlds. He was so obviously mad about missing the loop. LOL. If he doesn't go for seven at Worlds, then I don't know when he'll do it. He might not want to risk it in an Olympic season.

I can't imagine either Torgy or Camden passing on 4CCs. I can, though, see Naumov being passed over for 4CCs in favor of Ma. Jimmy had a better all and, clearly, that is something the Int'l Committee is taking into consideration with their ISU Championship assignments.

5 weeks, there's plenty of time to do both - most of the pairs, dance teams & women are doing both (or will be).

Absolutely. Except Camden and Max both have a reliable 3A and a semi-reliable quad, so, yeah... But, would any of us put anything past the USFS at this point?

With the results today and Jason's results being weaker than past years, I wouldn't assign him to Worlds. Best if he starts tomorrow, prepping for this fall if he can get scores in the GP and Nats showing he is still competitive with the top men in the world.
Love Jason's skating abilities! Much respect for him and all he has contributed to skating.
