2024 - 2025 NFL Training Camps, Roster Changes and the return of Swifties

30 degrees (and very windy) at game time. This is going to be one frigid game. Hope the wind isn't blowing against Tucker.

ETA: And that's a wrap on the regular season. AFC North champs! :cheer2: Definitely didn't expect that after they started the season 0-2.

At least on the AFC side we don’t know if the Broncos, Bengals or Dolphins get that last spot. The Chiefs were iced in at the KC airport but they eventually departed. Bengals looked great on that first drive and the Steelers D looked dominant in the second quarter.

Baltimore looked strong—so many great players. And at least Flowers was able to walk off the field.

And the Bengals win!!!! They did all they could do in their own game tonight and now we just have to wait to see what happens tomorrow. :cheer2: :biggrinbo :rollin:

Honestly, I won't be that bummed if they don't get into the playoffs because one, I feel like the team is pretty banged up at this point and I have no idea what the offense is gonna look like with all those injuries, and two, these guys are only in this position because of not winning games that they should have won earlier in the season, so if they come up short and don't get in, they only have themselves to blame and they actually realize this as a team. They know they created their own mess with all those losses but they still fought HARD to win their own games and put themselves in a good position....anything else is out of their hands now. I'm very proud that they fought so freaking hard over the last month or so to win all those games and get themselves an overall winning record after how they started the season. Who Dey! :cheer:

Always good to beat the Steelers!! ?

But yeah some of those bizarre early season losses really put them in a hole.

Their season was salvaged by Burrow and his receivers. They are a highlight package every week. That D though....

The Cardiac Commanders do it again with a touchdown in last 5 seconds.

I’m old enough to remember when beating the Cowboys was just delightful in itself. But it’s also worth not playing the Eagles again in the first round….

12-5, baby!

Well our second string is stinking up the joint in Denver. So I suspect Denver runs away with this one.

The Chiefs really like the Broncos, huh. What a gimme.

Commanders played with their second-string qback the second half and the difference was notable, but apparently Terry McLoughlin could catch a pass even if I threw it.

I have to admit, after years of watching Elway have his way with the Chiefs, it was nice to see them sit on the sidelines during the post season. But all good things come to an end. They found their coach and their qb and deserve their spot.

They’re my pick for Super Bowl since my team sucked!
Well they look like champs tonight. Scary good. Still I'm not counting Minnesota out once the playoffs start. I'm not sure about Green Bay. I think the Commanders could suprise folks. And Philly looks tough too. You know I think the NFC looks damned strong.

This is a very winnable game for my Vikes. Which is probably why they'll lose.

I really wish I hadn't been right about this. Not only did they lose, they lost badly. I can't think of a worse performance from them this season, I really can't. I had to take a day to process it. The Rams are the only other team besides Detroit that has beaten them this season, so of course that's who we get to face in the first round of the playoffs. I admit it, I'm really not liking their chances at this point.

Think of it as a bad dress rehearsal. Also they saw how Detroit would proceed for future meetings. I think the NFC is tougher than the AFC this year.

Honestly the Lions looked unbeatable in that game. They made a very good team look bad. My bet is Lions-Bills Super Bowl with an upset victory in AFC Championship for latter.

I would like this Super Bowl.

Well, yeah. I think the fact that we had two 14-win teams going at it for the division title on Sunday kind of makes that obvious. And the Chiefs finished 15-2 despite having one of their worst years offensively in quite a while. The AFC has some great teams, but overall I'd say the NFC has the edge. I'm just petty enough to NOT want Detroit to take it this year.

Most Cincinnati folks have a soft spot for the Bills after the Demar Hamlin health scare at the game here two years ago (which has been all over my FB memories lately) so that Superbowl would get pretty good ratings here. I know with my Bengals not in the playoffs this time, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the Bills get there and win it all this year. :)

31 degrees outside right now, temps dropping. Zay Flowers not playing tonight but his injury is not season-ending, they tell us.

Pre-game included a moment of silence for the victims and first responders of the CA wildfires. A nice touch from the NFL.

Let's go, Ravens!

They looked good from the get-go.
