2024 - 2025 NFL Training Camps, Roster Changes and the return of Swifties

I won’t get to see another game til the championships which I don’t expect the Commanders to be playing in - if they get past the Bucs the next team will be Eagles or Lions, I guess. But I’m actually enjoying the game again so much. **** you Dan Snyder.

Well this is easily the best game of the day...4 minutes left and tied...been back and forth all game. Jaydon is superb. And for Tampa Bay their tight end Evans is a stud.

The Commanders and the Chiefs have had some of the most dramatic wins this season. Two culturally appropriated team names, one changed. It would be rather fitting if they ended up facing each other. May the changed team win.

(I’m honestly hoping for Detroit/Buffalo).

My brother in law the Eagles fan sent me a cryptic text in the middle of my night here in Spain and I thought, well, they lost. But no another heart attack game!

I’m sure they won’t beat the Lions but what a great season.

It wouldn’t have been quite so nail biting if they’d just gone for a field goal on one of the 4th down attempts- like maybe the first one just to get points on the board in the opening drive. But ok I’ll take it. When the kick hit the upright, I nearly had another heart attack. Expect 4th down attempts galore next week in the battle of the Dans.

Offensive rookie of the year is sealed for Jayden.

Skol Vikings! Time to show out or go home. And if we win tonight, our reward is... a trip to Philadelphia. Joy. Probably the only time in my life I was rooting for a Packers win, and they couldn't pull it off.

Go Chiefs!! But look I get it. If any other team was going for their third SB in a row I would be cheering for new blood just for variety. But they are my team. I suggested we go from Chiefs to Chieftains. Then we call all wear plaid!!!

Amazing how the Packers were in it until close to the end. I'm a Lions fan but I've live in WI for almost 20 years so I have a steady diet of Packers commentary. The officiating was a bit rough but our guys lost their cool too much. The injuries were devastating. Sadness and frustration all around.

Bucs "Commodores" as we call them, was the best game. I felt so bad for Baker but we started rooting for Washington after that questionable hit on Daniel's out of bounds.

Not looking forward to seeing Washington because they are too young and excited to choke.

As I understand the "Chiefs" name was originated from a Major in the 1960's

"Chief' Mayor Row Battle in the 1960's who was responsible for the City along with Lamar Hunt to relocate the team from "Dallas Texans" to KC.

It is a complicated naming history.

So our mascot should have been a guy in a suit? 😜

I stepped away from the Greenbay game and they quickly reeled off ten points. I missed it.

Bucks-Commanders was the most exciting game so far. But my Vikes have yet to take the field, and while I know that most of the country is going to be pulling for the Rams, given the situation in southern California ... I breathe and bleed purple until the end. SKOL VIKINGS!

I think the googly eyes mascot is the perfect being to represent politicians?

I want the Vikings to win....nothing against the Rams.

I just saw that Southwest Airlines is letting those with tix to fly to L.A. for the Chargers game change their tix to Phoenix at no charge. :)

Zay Flowers is "day to day," according to Harbaugh. He may play in Sunday's game.

As a lifelong Commodes fan (my father grew up a Boston Braves/Redskins fan), I have to root for my team. As a long time Maryland resident, I have to root for the Ravens. But if I don’t get my wishes, Lions/Bills are my second choices.

I'm not a Maryland resident, but I root for the Ravens. Lamar Jackson played college football at my alma mater, and I love watching him play, he's so good.

To be honest, I'm enjoying all the games!
Me too. Football season seems to fly by. There isn't a lot left. Sigh.

Buffalo will be 20 degrees at game time tomorrow, and I think it will also snow? The coldest game Lamar Jackson has ever played in. :cold:

Yeah - the first half I was yelling at the TV - damnit offensive line PLAY.

Well we are going to hear about it next week and the Mahomes protection. Actually Josh has more roughing the passer calls. And maybe they do need to revisit the rule. But I don't turn on the tv to watch back-up quarterbacks whether it be for Patrick or Josh or Lamar or any of them. Stroud took a beating today...a lot of it from Karloftis. I remember when he was drafted. The Chiefs couldn't believe he was still on the board and grabbed him. Smart move.
