2024 - 2025 NFL Training Camps, Roster Changes and the return of Swifties

Yay, Eagles! (today anyway ;))

Is there a snowball's chance that the Ravens could beat the Steelers next weekend?
Apparently it's snowing...somewhere.....yay, Ravens! :cheer2:

Now the question is do we have a snowball's chance of making it past the wild card round in the playoffs?

Well now you’ve done it! The Steelers are royally po’d for the Chiefs! THAT was a good game. The Ravens have all of the pieces. To be honest I think it is up to Lamar. When I see him play like he did yesterday he seems unbeatable. But somehow he tightens up when he plays the Chiefs. He doesn’t look the same. And yet the Chiefs BARELY won the game earlier this season against the Ravens. One toe out of bounds…also Buffalo is looking awesome. Never easy in the AFC.

I love the Chiefs but barely winning in low scoring games is killing me. A whole lot of offenses look more productive. The defense is aces though.

That Broncos/Bengals game looms large. Joe Burrow as been playing so well and the Bengals actually have a chance for a playoff spot. Actually there a lot of games that loom large because nothing is too cut and dried for the wild card spots in both divisions.

Like Commanders/Falcons next Sunday night? Falcons are playing well without stupid Kirk Cousins so two young hungry quarterbacks and a playoff spot. Yikes.

Yeah that new qb looked pretty good. It is amazing all of the good things that happen when you land a qb that can get the job done. So far all of the rookies look pretty good and I think DC has the best one...two last second victories...rookies don't do that.

And if the Bucs win out, but we don’t win, we lost to them this year so I think they’d get the spot if it comes down to tie breakers. They are so complicated though.

OTOH we could move up a spot if we win and the Packers lose to the Vikings. It’s worse than figuring out skating standings which is saying something.

You mean WHEN the Packers lose to the Vikings, lol. Yeah, the calculations for playoff seedings are... complicated. But hey, at least my Vikings made the playoffs this year, and not by the skin of their teeth. That No. 1 seed is still within reach.

I’ll root for you guys when mine lose in the playoffs. My first jock crush was Fran Tarkenton but you’re probably young to remember him.

I was pretty young when he played, but I do remember his last stint with the Vikings (1972-78). He was a stud. :)

Mine was Roman Gabriel of the Eagles. I saw him in a John Wayne movie when I was a kid.

If you would have told me back when the Bengals couldn't get out of their own way earlier this season that they'd still have a chance to make the playoffs by week #17, I would have laughed SO HARD at that statement, but here we are in that week and I'm just shaking my head at how they got to this point. Whether they make the playoffs or not, I'm actually very proud of them for fighting back when they seemed very down and out not too long ago. Can't say my team doesn't have any fight left in them! :respec:

And the first things that this team needs to focus on in the off season are to sign Jamarr Chase and Tee Higgins to extensions and fix the crap out of the defense (i.e. figure out who's worth keeping and who needs to go ASAP).

I turned on Netflix to watch NFL pre game show. If every 30-45 seconds we get ads on Netflix series I'm going to have to watch live scores on the Internet - UNLESS Netflix has blocked that too

I guess they are going to need to push their series to recoup the 300 million dollars they paid NFL to broadcast the 2 games today.

Andy Reid said Chris Jones is unlikely to play today. Which may just give the Steelers a win

Fine on my TV but I’m feeling sorry for Texans. This is embarrassing.

I watched on an LG smart TV, it was crystal clear, no glitches.

Thought Beyonce was amazing!
