Um ... I say this as someone who has suffered from eating disorders in the past and still struggle ... get help. If you are only taking in liquid for breakfast you are not starting your day off with the proper nutrients. Better to eat a solid breakfast and eat less for dinner if you want to watch your weight.
your body might react differently, but Ive been having 12 hour intermittent fasting for 10+ years now, I have tried eating more than salmon at parties and I get LBM when I eat too much, my body already knows this as eating only fish for dinner is my routine.

That's not surprising if you've been undernurishing yourself over a long period of time your stomach won't be able to handle an increase in food intake. Basing your ideal weight on your LBM is not healthy. I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but having zero body fat is not a good thing.

Like I always say, a lot of people who have no real incentive to be obsessed with their weight are and are more extreme about it than models and athletes. The whole "fitness" industry exists because of it. Krylova is probably one of those people and she is entitled to have that belief. Her students don't have to do what she tells them to. I've met people who claim to be "naturally skinny" who never eat anything if you really pay attention. I really do respect these people's determined preference in looks over food. I wouldn't call them sad. Sometimes they go overboard but people go overboard on the other side too.

Be sure you aren't eating salmon every day. Salmon should be eaten 2-3× per week, max. While is is full of healthy fats and oils, it contains dangerous contaminants too.

This is why one of the best things you can do for your body is to eat a varied diet—the body thrives on a diet full of a variety of fresh vegetables, good carbohydrates like potatoes or squashes, lots of fresh fruits, nuts and other good protein sources (I enjoy fish and tofu frequently but also occasionally partake in roast chicken, spiced lamb, or teriyaki glazed beef—though for a long while I didn’t eat those things), tons of fresh herbs (I’m fanatic about adding chopped herbs and lime/lemon juice to almost everything), and a nice mix of noodles, breads/cakes, pastas, etc. as desired.

A person is not meant to live on a bland avocado smoothie for breakfast and a joyless piece of salmon without oils or sauces for dinner—a diet like that would be incomplete.

to be fair, Medvedva or Shcherbakova are just naturally skinny, you cant change genetics
its predetermined like Male Pattern Baldness.

Life isnt fair, some people can eat all they want and still not gain any weight
I have maintained a stringent diet for 10+ years now, I take only liquid (water, avocado, parley juice etc) for brealfast and eat a slice of salmon in dinner. I barely meet my ideal 54 kilos.
See post above for reference—I didn’t know how to do a multi-quote.

We don't know for sure if they're splitting Pairs. And Russia might not even know for sure yet. It might very well depend on how the points are by the end of the 2nd day of the TE.

But, if they do split Pairs then I expect the Sotnikova-esque unexpected medal (maybe not gold) to come from BoiKoz not Trusova. Just sayin'...

Those kids are feisty. B&K would definitely see it as an insult to shut them out of a guaranteed medal. I don't think Moskvina would dissuade them from that notion either.
Neither would Tutberidze. I hope every skater who isn't in the team competition just goes and gets their own damn medal. But, mostly, I hope they get to skate. I'm going to stop reading the Oh, No, X has C-19 threads and just wait until the competition starts. It's too nerve wracking. I can only imagine how the athletes feel. It would be like wading in a river full of hungry piranha and hoping they aren't hungry today.

Fish can contain Mercury, which can cause trembling in adults, and birth defects in babies (if a pregnant woman eats too much fish) and very young children. I had researched Mercury as contaminant, years ago in my job as Environmental Engineer. The literature search gave similar warnings (not specific to Salmon).

Oops! Am I in the wrong thread or forum? Sorry about the OT post.

Back on track- I am concerned about StepBuk not in Beijing yet. I would hate to see them miss the Olympics again.

Just wanted to say how proud of Mark I am today. He started this season at the junior test skates, thinking about competing in juniors - and look where he is now :)
He is also so humble and modest, still claiming he is not the best Russian skater and praising Kolyada, expressing his regret and how sorry he is for Mikhail that he is missing the Olympics.
A very honorable and decent young man. He is absolutely adorable and heart-warming and I wish him all the best in his first Olympics.

What a sweetheart.

Evgeni Platov will be happy with two gold medals in Men. Me too. Of course that's not going to happen.
Hanyu already has two.

Hello mother Russia fans. I have missed y'all :D

I don't know half of these skaters anymore. Who on earth are Mishina&Galliamov? I was expecting BoiKo. And baby Valieva, really? I'm so out of the loop. lol

Mishina& Galliamov are the reigning World Champions, lol. They've been beating BoiKo consistently over the past season and a half at least.

Mishina/Galliamov - We are the Champions
So I heard. ;)

Thank you so much for the video. I've been meaning to do some catch up with the last couple of years competitions. I was busy yesterday and today recording the Olympics, editing the videos and now I'm uploading them.
