Alina is very beautiful, the dress color is very fit for her but the designe is awful again.
She forged a medical exception and doctor's signature.Maria Sotskova to be banned by RUSADA for 10 years for doping document forgery
She forged a medical exception and doctor's signature.
No, there are two different issues. She forged a document after she missed a routine doping test. As well, a prohibited substance was found in one of her tests. That's why it is a long 10 year ban. After she tested positive for something
My guess is some kind of diuretic. They are on the banned list because they can mask steroids, but skaters and gymnasts typically use them to lose weight.
That's a good question. i always though that such bans only prevent athletes from competing.Well, she can't coach for 10 years from what I understand?

My understanding, based on Sotskova's interviews, is that she is studying to be a choreographer and plans to work with figure skaters. She doesn't want to be coach. She learns different thing at university

I can’t imagine it would. Shows aren’t regulated by amateur athletics governing bodies.Does this type of ban prevent her from appearing in shows?

РУСАДА дисквалифицировало фигуристку Сотскову на 10 лет за подделку медицинской справки
Об этом ТАСС сообщил источникtass.ru
As well, a prohibited substance was found in one of her tests.
As it became known to RT, the athlete in November 2019 decided to end her career, but did not formalize her departure from the sport, did not notify RUSADA in writing.
In this regard, Sotskova continued to remain on the RUSADA lists as an active athlete, and in March 2020 they tried to take an out-of-competition doping test from her. The athlete, in a conversation with doping officers, insisted that she had already retired, but in the end she was forced to do a test that tested positive for furosemide.
According to RT, Sotskova provided a certificate confirming that she was taking the drug for medical reasons, but the clinic did not have a license to issue it. In this regard, the athlete was accused of forgery and was disqualified for 10 years.
Well, that's harsh. What kind of clinic couldn't prescribe lasix? It's a common drug for several issues, but taking it to lose weight is short term and not smart. She wasn't competing then so it wouldn't have been for that. Poor Maria. It doesn't sound like a deliberate attempt at doping (lasix certainly doesn't improve performance unless you're a race horse and want to pee a lot and drop your weight class just before a race), but made some errors in judgment. It was furosemide. See below.

Сотскова не уведомила об окончании карьеры перед сдачей положительной допинг-пробы

Lots of girls do it everywhere, to look good in a wedding dress...Well, that's harsh. What kind of clinic couldn't prescribe lasix? It's a common drug for several issues, but taking it to lose weight is short term and not smart. She wasn't competing then so it wouldn't have been for that.
Yes, she did get married around then. That's doubly unfortunate. I know people who use lasix for this purpose, but it only lasts about 24 hours. Sadly, it can totally alter your potassium levels. People on lasix long term have to take oral potassium to balance out the sodium losses. Oh, Maria. That's a shame.Lots of girls do it everywhere, to look good in a wedding dress...![]()
