Loving Truth Be Told on Apple. I love Octavia Spencer!

Is each episode one or two hours? I'm going to do an Apple free preview week, and I was wondering if I could watch it all this weekend since there are only four episodes.

Tonight I watched "Don't f*ck with cats: Hunting an internet killer".

3 one hour episodes so a good binge. Fascinating documentary about a group on Facebook who track a killer that started off with videos of him doing horrible things to kittens. Knew nothing about it so quite riveting and interesting.

I just watched the first episode. I almost didn’t watch it because I have a very low tolerance for animal abuse. But my crime documentary loving side decided to try. It’s very well done. I was riveted. Now my kids have to go to sleep so I can finish watching it.

If anyone is on the fence about it because of the animal abuse angle, they don’t actually show anything. It’s still super disturbing of course but it’s a little easier to get through.

Each episode is one hour. Apple drops new episodes once a week. I believe the first season is supposed to be 10 episode.

I finally got around to watching Unbelievable. I was a bit mixed on the TV show although it is an amazing and powerful story. On the show, I thought the Marie storyline was really well done, if hard to watch at many times, and Kaitlyn Dever did a fantastic job as Marie. I was less impressed with the 2011 storyline of the two cops - I don’t expect it to be a documentary but some of the aspects of it were so cheesy and the exposition was really clunky. And the stuff about religion was super hamfisted. Overall, still worth watching but I felt like it could have been done better.

Has anyone watched this Sonja Henie biographical film on Prime?

I was worried about too but thankfully they don't show any. Still it was pretty amazing how the sleuths managed to track this guy who did it.

Oh bummer. Guess I'll have to wait until summer when I have a full week to devote to it. Back to bingeing Mrs. Maisel! Susie is freaking comedy gold.
Susie is my favorite followed closely by Abe. A special shout out to the episode this season with Lenny Bruce, so well done. Poignant and sweet and I just cried at the end.

I didn't even know Lenny Bruce was a real life person until I read about him last night. ?

Pretty much everything Susie says makes me laugh out loud, and I don't give out laughs easily.

I thought this season may have gotten a tad too dark. That was some heavy stuff in the finale.

Don’t F##k with Cats was fascinating. The first part starts out a little unintentionally theatrical because of the storytelling by the internet group members. But by part two, there are so many twists and the ending is really something as well. It’s difficult to get me to pay attention to something for a half hour, but I was glued to my TV for all three hours.

Btw- the Canadians here surely knew about this case but I hadn’t heard anything of it prior to this, and there’s even a brief Miami Beach mention.

i know season 2 just dropped but I started season 1 of You after work today and it's making my skin crawl. It's really well done, but I hate that I'm so interested in this show lol.

That's exactly how I felt when I watched it during it's original run. I've discovered I can't watch any episodes after dark, though, because it creeps me out so much. I might watch an episode or two of S2 tomorrow since I'm off from work, but my priority is finishing Virgin River on Netflix. I wasn't sold on it at first, but it's really hooked me now.

The Mandalorian S01x07:

Somebody please save baby Yoda!!! :wuzrobbed
@Buzz Don't read until you've watched episode 8.
Phew! I can now continue watching The Mandalorian. I only watched the first episode, then spoiled myself mercilessly because I needed to know that Baby Yoda was going to be all right. I know it's not real but I get too caught up in things emotionally and would not have been able to handle an unhappy ending. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series now. :)

now I will be on pins and needles until I get home! :wuzrobbed

OMG - episode 8 of "The Mandalorian" was incredible. Last one of the short Season 1 - but I have read that Season 2 has already been approved (quite obviously from fan enthusiasm).

I watched The Aeronauts with my mom over the holidays. She loved the movie so I scaled back my laughter at how freaking stupid it is. I like the real life story it's based on but the dramatization of it is horrible.

The dumbest story line is:
The female balloonist's husband tried to break a world record with his wife. She kept pushing to go higher when he wanted to turn back. He eventually gives in to her desire to go higher and makes the balloon lighter by throwing himself out of it. Seriously???????? Who the feck thought that was a good story line?

There are just a lot of issues with this movie. The real life people set a record of around 8,000 feet while the movie put them at 36,000 with a lot of stupid decisions around the problems of going that high in a balloon.

Don't waste your time on this Amazon Prime original.

I just watched the movie. It was okay.

I was kinda eh around all of the social media posts around The Morning Show but I have a free year of Apple TV+ from buying the latest iPhone a few months ago, so I thought why not.

Here I am in the middle of the night, all 10 episodes completed, and I cannot say enough about how good this was. Do yourself a favor and watch, and you’ll probably end up bingeing it all at once, too.

I just finished The Morning Show too (also as a result of free Apple TV+ from my new iPhone) and would second the recommendation. Some stuff is a bit cheesy and/or overwrought, but I thought it was a really interesting look at MeToo and had some different takes.

I binge-watched the two seasons of “Pose” on Netflix when I was in Korea over the New Year. Can’t wait for the third season! :drama:

Watching "The Nanny" on Prime. I'd forgotten how hilarious the show is. When I watch an episode on the subway on my way to work, I've gotten looks because I've literally laughed out loud.
Glad to hear it's being turned into a Broadway musical (extremely fitting, since Mr. Sheffield was a Broadway producer...)

I love that show and watch the reruns locally every night. The entire cast was so talented, the writing witty and the actors' timing was perfect. What great finds in the young cast as well, especially Madeline Zima and Benjamin Salisbury.

I'm watching Glow Up on Netflix. It's a makeup artist contest. The only thing I don't like about these contest shows is they attempt to get the weirdest personalities to get you to watch. A great artist is enough for me to watch. I always wish they would focus more on the final looks. In the end they do have some really great final makeups. I'm always impressed with how people can create these looks.

I'm on episode 3 right now and I'm wondering of Paige has a mental illness because she got so giddy and ridiculous while still expecting that she was going to be safe or a top look.
