Rankings for the interclub league, top 6 in singles, top 4 in pairs and top 5 in dance qualified into the Final (Aug 29 - Sep 1 in Sanya, Hainan Province).

Only the 1st and 5th stages have Sr and Jr pairs. These two events count for the qualification of National Winter Games next year so higher profile skaters from all disciplines were likely to take part in.

ETA: Wang / Wang won't be at Nationals due to her injury. Sorry @Jeschke . But their club posted this Tuesday saying that they were back on ice so I assume the injury was probably healed already.

I have no clue about the details of the National's Sr singles field but according to Han Yan Fan Van it seems Han Yan won the nationals. Congrats to him! Even without quads his skating is always beautiful and he actually matured on the artistic side. ?

Love Love Love both programs of Xiangyi AN for this season, especially FS (by Richaud?) Wish she'll be more consistent on jumps as the season goes. Do we know if she has an entry to any international competition this season?

I'd love to see her getting an international novice competition too but that seems unlikely...

Loved both the SP and LP. Kudos to P/J and team for making interesting music choice and utilizing interesting choreography. I need to watch the programs a few more times to grasp all the nuances in the choreography.

It was his injury not hers. She actually skated their SP as a solo before while he was injured and recovering.

Wow it seems like this is a very strange situation. After all, China doesn't use Ice Partner Search - they just pair people up. I wonder if she was hoping to form a team with someone from another country or something and China vetoed it? Or maybe China has already found another partner for her?
