It seems like they wanted us to see her signature, though, so I think it has significance. At first I thought they wanted us to see the date, but it was clear from the 40th birthday decorations that it was next year.

I just watched this episode last night & I'm not loving most of the storylines this year:

1. Rebecca having dementia or Alzheimers
2. Kate fretting about Toby losing weight without her - he kept to the plan & she didn't. Suck it up, snowflake!
3. Kate telling Toby about the avocado - how stupid!
4. Hint that Toby is cheating & Kate & Toby potentially getting divorced.
5. Deja dating an experienced teen - you just know he's going to get her pregnant.
6. Future Kevin & Randall "not talking".

Things I've liked:

1. Kevin getting his act together.
2. Bringing Nicky into the story & cleaning him up.
3. Tess coming out - that was precious! Her smile afterwards was so cute.
4. The shrimp tradition.
5. Future Kevin having a fiancé who is pregnant.

There's probably a lot more of both.

The fact that 50% of the things you don't like are related to Kate and Toby is very understandable. They've always been my least favorite part of the show, but this season I could do without them all together.

I don't see Deja getting pregnant. I think she has more of a mature head than most kids her age, and that would be a pretty cliche storyline.

We know Randall and Kevin make up since they're talking 10 years in the future, so I'm not too worried about what's probably a brief speedbump in their relationship.

How does Kevin go back home and meet, date, impregnate, and get engaged to someone in less than 9 months? Actually, it all happens in less than 6-7 months since the fiancé has morning sickness so she is probably already 2-3 months pregnant as of August 2020.

Well, I guess that happens! But to stand there and announce "I am going to be married and have a child by the time I'm 40!" and then set out to make sure that happens makes me question the sincerity of the relationship on Kevin's end if he just wants to make sure he has those things by the time he's 40.

As a guy without children, I am hardly an expert, but I tend to associate morning sickness with the earlier stages of pregnancy. So, while Cassidy can still be Kevin's fiancee (I still can't see her agreeing to marriage after just being so newly divorced), I don't think their baby was conceived during that encounter a few episodes ago.

I do. There is nothing in this world I despise more than people who treat pets like disposable items that can be tossed on a whim. Nothing. And she doesn't get a pass because she is "grieving". If she is grieving so bad that she tossed her dog away because Jack died in the fire trying to get him (which is not even true), why does she still have that tape! Her "grief" should have made her toss that tape too, along with all the other inanimate objects Jack brought out of that house versus the living, breathing animal who was also traumatized and doesn't understand what is happening and scared to death that the person he knows just dumps him off to someone else. TV show or not, I despise people like that and the fact that the writers even came up with that idea just perpetuates this thinking that pets are disposable items that you can just toss away because you don't want them anymore. And its an absolute insult to Jack's memory that she gave away that dog.

I don't feel sorry for Kate one bit or about anything that happens to her narcissistic, self-centered self. And while by the time the Series Finale rolls around and I think the show will end with everyone happy and together, all fences mended, I really wish Toby would dump her and never look back. She doesn't deserve him and treats him horribly. Toby is too good for Kate.

That's a big nope on the dog. The last time we saw Louie was the funeral episode and Kate said "I don't even want that dog". As of the story to date, we have never seen poor Louie again and there was more than enough opportunity to have seen him living with them in the apartment or their new house since all Kate has been doing is sitting around doing nothing and making people feel sorry for her. Louie would have been right there by her side if he was there. Kate tossed her dog like he was nothing.

Changing subject...........since the show is on break anyway......I don't follow Hollywood gossip, but this name showed up on my "trending on yahoo" - Chrishell Stause. She's married to Justin Hartley (Kevin) and they are getting a divorce. The only reason I clicked on it was because I recognized her name from All My Children. Apparently she is on Days of our Lives now. I didn't read to see if they had kids, but wouldn't they be gorgeous? Oh well.
