I just have one question: exactly what the HELL business is it of ours to know who helped Gracie? Why does that matter? Someone (or more than one) helped her, which is wonderful. Why can't we just leave it at that?
I think sometimes our sense of entitlement about what access we should have to skaters goes a little overboard. And if that ticks you off, so be it. This was a very rough, personal time for Gracie. And she has the right to keep it personal and not share it with fans. Sorry, but this doesn't come off as "concern" to me on the part of quite a few people here, it comes off as gossipy nosiness.
I agree. This is more of the "Fans know best" meddling that I see a lot on here. it's as if we are entitled to tell these young people how to live their life... And then if it turns out to be someone a poster doesn't like I am sure the 'motives' for helping will be "well it just was to get Gracie out of the way so she could advance" After all FSU is full of posters who only treat skaters with kindness and pixie dust (And if you believe this statement I have a bridge for sale)
