1) "They" are not "us that spend exorbitant amounts of time analyzing Tonya's life".
2) Maybe she does have a loyal following of ex-cons
3) Maybe some people still remember the Classism that used to exist before the middle class was destroyed during the 2nd Bush Era through the Obama Era, and identify with Tonya because they remember that they were not considered high class at one time.

My objection is not so much "a former criminal who lies constantly" as it is the blatant pandering to Tonya. Her music for tomorrow's show is very telling. I don't think she will win but obviously that's what the producers want. They don't always make it so obvious.

Pete Rose is the one that is banned for gambling. Johnny Bench was never accused of gambling. Pete Rose is a senior itizen now and would not be able to play. I doubt he would get a chance to manage again after betting on the games of the last team he managed.

I'm struggling with him -- do I want Adam to win so much that I'm biased? He seems like a great guy, but yeah, there were several awkward moments tonight.

IMO his shoulders were really high (which of course the judges did not comment on), he was stepping really quickly and just looked out of his comfort zone.
