To those whining about the service, I'm sure this has been rehearsed down to the minute, so it's exactly what the couple getting married wanted. And good for them. It's their wedding.

Right, it had to have been rehearsed. However, the real ceremony is different from the rehearsal. Reading what Curry said will maybe be better than his delivery. He started well, but went a bit off the rails, IMO. But it doesn't matter in the end.

Princess Eugenie is getting married this fall, but that will probably be on a smaller scale.

Her Majesty The Queen is giving a Lunchtime Reception at St George's Hall in Windsor Castle for around 600 guests drawn from the Wedding Service congregation.

Guests will be served a selection of canapés, including:

Scottish Langoustines wrapped in Smoked Salmon with Citrus Crème Fraiche
Grilled English Asparagus wrapped in Cumbrian Ham
Garden Pea Panna Cotta with Quail Eggs and Lemon Verbena
Heritage Tomato and Basil Tartare with Balsamic Pearls
Poached Free Range Chicken bound in a Lightly Spiced Yoghurt with Roasted Apricot
Croquette of Confit Windsor Lamb, Roasted Vegetables and Shallot Jam
Warm Asparagus Spears with Mozzarella and Sun-Blush Tomatoes


Guests will also be served a selection of bowl food, including:

Fricassee of Free Range Chicken with Morel Mushrooms and Young Leeks
Pea and Mint Risotto with Pea Shoots, Truffle Oil and Parmesan Crisps
Ten Hour Slow Roasted Windsor Pork Belly with Apple Compote and Crackling


Sweet canapés will also be served, including:

Champagne and Pistachio Macaroons
Orange Crème Brûlée Tartlets
Miniature Rhubarb Crumble Tartlets


The wedding cake will also be served at the Reception. Designed by Claire Ptak, the wedding cake features elderflower syrup made at The Queen’s residence in Sandringham from the estate’s own elderflower trees, as well as a light sponge cake uniquely formulated for the couple. A filling made from Amalfi lemon curd and elderflower buttercream ties all the elements together. The cake is decorated with Swiss meringue buttercream and 150 fresh flowers, mainly British and in season, including peonies and roses.

To drink, guests will be served Pol Roger Brut Réserve Non Vintage Champagne, and a selection of wines. A range of soft drinks will also be served, including an apple and elderflower mocktail, made with the same elderflower syrup as used in the wedding cake, and Sandringham Cox's apple juice.

The Reception will include the cutting of the wedding cake and speeches from The Prince of Wales, Prince Harry and Ms. Markle. The Duke of Cambridge, who is the Best Man, will act as compere for the Reception.

There’s something satisfying in hearing Meghan’s American accent. I am not completely sold on the dress but the tiara, veil, and bracelet are stunning.

Is Meghan having a bit of hair mulfunction? Seems a few stray locks are falling out of place.

I'm not sold on the dress either. There is classic and simple and then there is so plain that it didn't quite need a designer. I feel like this one landed on the second. And it doesn't seem very original. I do like the veil and the choice of tiara was unexpected and lovely.

Someone on MSNBC just went on for a long while about what revolutionary person Meghan is for picking a female designer for a royal wedding dress. Because apparently Elizabeth Emanuel (Diana), Lindka Ciarach (The Duchess of York) and Sarah Burton (Kate) are either not female or didn't actually design the dresses now.

I'm so tired of her hair being a mess. No, I don't find it relatable. I find it sloppy. And I find it weird that elsewhere on the web, the same people who pick apart Kate if she has a hair out of place or they think the hem was not perfectly done on her dress find Meghan's messy hair to be the most amazing thing ever. The double standard emerging for them is so strange.

I think Kate chose the perfect hat because if she looked down even a little, you couldn't see her facial expressions. Not that there is anything wrong with her demeanor, but it seems she managed to nit upstage anyone while still being well put together.

A look that I see daily on high school girls. But she is nearly 37 and newly a Duchess. Time to give up the high school girl hair.
