Hold on to your fascinators, it could be a snarky ride! It's Royal Wedding Day! Wheeee!

Oh yes. Much longer. I love that Meaghan's culture and her mother's are part of her wedding.

It's great about the melding of cultures and wonderful touches throughout, but Curry was not successful, IMO. OTT shouting and trying too hard is not part of black culture. There is a real art to preaching in any denomination. If you got it, you got it. If you don't, you don't.

Maybe Curry was nervous and thus over-did it. If Bishop Curry had a better delivery, had kept focused, and melded the words together in an actual profound way and with the down home eloquence we see in black churches, that would have been fine. We did not get that from Curry. Martin Luther King, or Barack Obama, he definitely is NOT. I expected something better from Curry. Of course, nothing can place a damper on this beautiful day. Meghan and Harry are profound and wonderful all on their own.

The young cellist is so divine!

^^ she (Victoria Beckham) was smiling and chatting with other members of the congregation before they took their seats :)

The cello playing is beautiful. And he has his black hole so he is not digging a hole into the floor of the church with the spike.

Kind of cool to see the harp with the 'His Royal Highness Prince of Wales' on it. Don't even think about stealing Charles' harp!!

I always think these old churches are beautiful, but would be a NIGHTMARE as an actual guest of the wedding. You're either sitting sideways, twisting your head to see the alter, or you're facing forward but have huge pillars blocking your view.

It’s so interesting to watch the audience reactions to the music. Some are distracted, some biding their time, and some transported

You have all the great info as usual. Thank you.

Charles' tie/pocket square game is always on point. I think he's always one of the best accessorized men. And I like his bright pink boutonnière, which ties into Camilla's pale pink dress.

Someone please fix Meghan’s hair as soon as she gets out of the carriage. :drama:
