Remember when Igor was the levels master? Marie-France and Patrice took that over. Heck, even Marina and Massimo's teams have consistently achieved higher TES than Igor's as of late.
 
C/B got L4 on all elements except the midline (same as at Olys). Given that Madi is skating on an injured ankle, that's pretty good. I felt they were underscored in PCS and I also thought they deserved higher GOE on their lift. I hope they can have a great skate in the FD.

Yeah, it was really clear after watching them back-to-back with P/C and H/D. Before Igor wasn't only able to maximize levels but do it in a way that garnered really high GOEs. C/B are skating more cautiously but I think the field just improved their edging, power, and execution of the elements so the ones that already had better basic skating skills now had the elements to put them over.

I think people projected all kinds of crazy expectations on them because they just expected a Russian team to be in bigger medal contention, but just because they are currently in 7th doesn't mean they are being "dumped". They are where they've been all season really.

All I see is a team that beat c/l w/p now lose to them! It’s clear the judges want Bukin out. Where did that never before seen extra lift come from? It’s a fake ruse to send a message that he should retire.

Same. She was SO excited to be at Worlds; I hate that for her. I hope she can brush it off and be fantastic tomorrow

H/D really freaking brought it today. Like, truly, WOW. What fun :)

I thought their PCS seemed high for how slow and cautious they skated.

Are C/B skating for 4 more years?

I agree, I really enjoyed their performance, their best of the season IMO. I enjoyed the most to G/P (I really LOVE that program), W/P, C/B and for the first time I enjoyed S/B program :eek:.

Poor Kaitlin H.

Kana and Chris SB yay!! 10th place, underscored in PCS as usual

Olivia and Adria 12th, still possible that top 10

W/L underscored

P/C got rhumba L3, so they will not leave the season with only L4 after all.

I will miss the latin rhythm, I know some teams got very weird music but many other got good music that is familiar and enjoyable for me.

Worse than mediocre! Atrocious! I have been finding this all season actually. At Olympics they zoomed away from V/M's opening lift and P/C's stationary lift into their spin. Two highlights for me, personally. Grr.

And especially in dance...never zoom away from the SKATES. How are we to determine the edges and blast the judges?

Also, they zoomed away from my FAVE moment of Aljona and Bruno's SP here.

I haven't been watching much due to no ISU stream, but based on what I've seen I tend to agree.

Wow, I dont know what to think, I am not expert on those, I know just the usual Moulin rouge, wicked, phantom, les miserables, hamilton, i guess it include la la land and other musical movies???
