Canadian ladies über

Well the Olympic season is officially here so I thought I'd start a new thread for our beloved Canadian ladies - three of whom will be skating at the Olympics next February!
Grand prix assignments were announced in May. Kaetlyn Osmond to Skate Canada and Trophée de France; Gabby Daleman to Cup of China and Skate America; and Alaine Chartrand to Skate Canada and NHK.
There's a TBD for Skate Canada. I hope it will go to whoever skates best at summer competitions. I would expect the front runners to be Larkyn Austman, Sarah Tamura, and Kim Decelles. Or maybe Veronik Mallet if she is in form (she's registered for the Quebec Summer Skate).
There are quite a few competitions listed on the international assignments page: https://skatecanada.ca/national-team/international-assignments/
I hope they send ladies to all of them!
As for the junior grand prix, Emily Bausback posted on instagram that she was assigned to JGP #5 in Croatia: https://www.instagram.com/p/BWK2JhBDsRR/?taken-by=embausback
According to the selection criteria: https://info.skatecanada.ca/hc/en-c...n-to-Jr-Grand-Prix-International-Competitions - other junior ladies slots are at JGP #1 in Brisbane, Australia; #3 in Riga, Latvia; #6 in Gdansk, Poland; and #7 in Egna (Bolzano), Italy.
If the third JGP was already assigned, I imagine the first two have already but I haven't seen anything. I would expect an early one to go to Aurora Cotop.
Seemingly contenders for JGP spots are those on the nextgen list: https://skatecanada.ca/nextgen/
Bring on the Olympic season! I think Chartrand is the favourite for the third spot, but she really needs to be more consistent this year. Not that the ones below her are that consistent either, but I want everyone to really skate for it this year and I hope there will be a real battle for the third spot!
