My husband is coming home!

(((judiz and husband))) sending you prayers that things will get better. I hope the therapist is helping to teach you some coping techniques. Mental illness is SO tough.

Sorry to hear that things are still so difficult for you and your husband, judiz. It must be stressful for both of you when he has to keep changing medications. Hope the doctors will find something that is more effective as soon as possible and that your lives will begin to gain some sort of normality. Kudos to you for seeing a therapist and practicing good self-care in the meantime.

Looks like he will be hospitalized again as medication and therapy is not working and he is getting worse. This time I have to admit him to a hospital in Massachusetts which specializes in OCD. I am going to speak to my brother in law and then a coworker who offered to help to see if either can take off from work to make the trip with me.

Sorry to hear this, but glad he's going to a new hospital. Best wishes for his treatment and your journey.

I'm so sorry for both you and your husband, Judiz. I don't know where and how you find the time and energy to deal with all of this. And on top of that, all the worry and concern.

Really hoping for you both that your husband finally gets a treatment that works.

I'm sorry to hear that he's not getting better. Safe travels to you both and prayers for a better outcome this time.

Had to take my husband back to the hospital today, he was having thoughts of hurting himself. STUPID psychiatrist he saw this morning didn't think hospitalization was necessary He is still in ER, they are swamped and who knows when he will be seen. This is not the hospital in Boston, they have no beds available so I took him to Manhattan where he was hospitalized from November to January. We'll transfer him to Boston once they have a bed available.

So very sorry for this ordeal. Sending hugs and best wishes that there is a turnaround very soon.

(((judiz))) Hugs and prayers coming your way. I am so sorry for all you are going through with your husband. It must be so difficult, I can't even imagine.

WOW. Suicidal ideation is nothing to fool around with. ((((judiz and husband)))) Glad he is now in the hospital.

Doctor called me today, anticipating 15 sessions of ECT which translates to a five week stay. Heard from Boston - 3 month wait list
