Will United State's Loose Three Spots By Sending Max Rather Then Ross?

Now that I have had one day to sink in the news about Max Aaron preforming at world's instead of Ross, I am more confused. And I am also more upset! I think that Ross would of been able to get between 260 and 264 points, depending on how the two Oriental youngster's on the team did we could keep three places for next season.

But, with Max, he usually winds up spending so much time falling and landing on his buns, I am concerned about spots! The spot math I do not remember but I am very worried. I have not been so worried since my wife and I reserved a hotel room for our last vacation to the Precious Moment's Chappel and the web sight where we made the reservation tried to steal out money. We had to contact television shows to try to get a refund, it was awful!

So will USA keep our spots or will Max ruin chances? What do people think.

My guess is Ross passed. I don’t think the US passed over him.

That aside, it’s a gamble in either scenario. Ross and Mac are both inconsistent internationally.

Why are you making this drama? I can't handle this neverending, silly babbling, freaking out, ad nauseam arguments & disproportional dismay over USA skaters and their spots complete with nitpicky factoring. Just unworthy of attention, but you'd think that this is clearly matter of life and death for many American forum members.

Anyway I doubt it will matter much because the number of your spots is dependable on your 2 skaters with the highest finish. I don't think you have to worry much. I'd not call Max any safer plan B buffer than Ross though if that's what you ask for, but Jason (he declined first) would likely finish higher. It does not matter much though with your question.

Max Aaron has been my fridge break ever since "footloose" :scream::scream::scream:

Is he any better?
My wife and I enjoyed the Foot Loose program, a rare chance to hear wonderful country music in this sport and it made an opportunity for something much more manly then what American guys usually preform on the ice.

With Adam's sassy disco dance and nipple-bearing outfits and Jason's hair and rumors of a "transition" I am fervently hoping that this World's will not be the last time we see Max!

Ross is so wonderful to fall on his sword and allow the great Max Aaron to go to Worlds once again! Max is the best trained athlete!

I don't know if he is better per your criteria, but here is his most recent competitive skate. He lands all his content like a machine.

I just like the type of person Max is and will always cheer his success at meeting his own goals!

IIRC, Max performed 2 clean quads the last time I remember seeing him skate and we all know they're needed to compete today! Rippon skating clean w/o a quad put him well behind Chen & Zhou at the Olympics; even with Nathan's dismal SP! W/ those 6 quads in the LP, he almost pulled a "Denis Ten" coming from way back of the pack!:COP::plush:

After takingg some time to look at this post, actually I feel very ggood about Max. Let's hope he wares nice costumes at worlds, he looks ggood in most colors so I am not worried.

Sorry, the gg key on my key board is sticky right now. I'm ggoingg to ask my wife if she knows where the computer cleaner spray is.

If Nathan and Vincent skate to form the U.S. should be fine for 3 spots for the men.

And a little OT, but I don't think it's appropriate to call Nathan and Vincent 'the Oriental' youngsters. Some Asians, or Americans of Asian descent take offense to that term. Why even single them both out by their race anyway? Max, Ross and Jason aren't referred to as the 'White' skaters after all. Just saying.

I have to correct people all the time since it was a habit in past generations! I always say THE BIG "O" is designated for a place or thing like a rug or chair! That usually gets them off of saying it front of me anyway! :COP: :yikes:

Wait, Galustyan quit? I assumed she was just injured or something.

No, I meant she just quit this season. I was just being dramatic. :p

She's skating in shows and officially is "taking a break from competition".

1. Jason and Max would probably both outscore Ross internationally right now.
2. Nathan and Vincent were 5th and 6th at the Olympics and neither was perfect. Vincent has slowly been claiming the title of U.S. no. 2, so these two will handle placements for 2019 Worlds.

I don't think Ross is in the equation at all.

The Big O is usually how i feel after watching Max Aaron's skating! I like his tight pants. I think it is unfair that the judges give him costume deductions! The judges are always finding reasons not to give Max the marks he truly deserves!

It's ridiculous to see Max behind Jason each time when the technical content was so much more in Max's performance! My mouth went agape at it in the 4 CC in Jan.! Max may be the typical stiff American skater, but the jumps were sound! Just because Jason can do spirals shouldn't overrule completed quads! That was a complete joke; scores totally given to Jason on reputation and seniority over technical content! When was that ever the case in men's skating? Even Yagudin was losing to Plushenko early on because of his 2 quads! It forced Alexei to do more which eventually broke down those hips in 2002 after the Olympic year! :COP: :plush: :yikes:
