What Program Have You Rewatched the Most?

Tanja Szewczenko: 1997 CSF LP

I'm going to second this one. I loved it so much I used "Speed" as my FS the next 2 seasons.

I love the movie and the music too.

ETA:
The build-up of emotion and Tanja's reaction at the end of the performance still works the tear ducts! Tanja's a sweet person and it was so deserving for her to have that performance and those moments after ups-and-downs in her career. She was a lovely skater and an impressively high jumper too.

Could say most things P/C but probably: 2016 Build a Home Euro version (much better filming than Worlds) and 2016 SD Waltz at Worlds. Finally, 2017 FD Worlds Oddudua.

Some years ago:
Duchesnays Mission at Worlds 1990
Plushenko Nijinsky LP at Nationals getting a perfect score, something fascinating about that performance

Miyahara's last 2 SPs
Osmond last two seasons

Tessa/Scott valse triste

Of course, I forgot about that. I think it is my favorite Tessa/Scott program. Mahler was far more sophisticated, and Tessa/Scott Carmen is iconic in my opinion.

But Valse Triste is just pure, joyful dance IMO.

Also I saw it live in 2007 (I think that was the year), at Skate Canada in Victoria BC. And was taken aback by how sublime it was - I'd not expected anything like that at the competition. Really transported me!

The lifts and lines from valse triste is what makes me rewatch it. I love their carmen (One of the best figure skating renditions tbh and is a must watch for those who haven't seen it) but personally, for me valse triste is better because the lifts and lines were pure beauty and effortless whereas Carmens lifts were a little slower and a little labored in comparison. I may be in the minority but I like Mahler, but I don't love it. Its in my top ten V/M programs but not top five.

Are we having both an over-representation of Canadian fans and younger fans in this thread?

Tessa/scott, Yuzuru hanyu, Mao asada, Papadakis/cizeron, Yuna kim, Evgenia, Javier, patrick, nathan, shoma, carolina etc. and are all recent skaters who have made a large/ or somewhat large impact on skating in some way and almost all of them have massive amount of supporters/fans, of course, they are going to be mentioned a lot. its not over-representation it's just what the majority of people like. Liking to rewatch newer skaters programs doesn't make a persons answer any less valid. Lots of people in here also mentioned janet lynn and Torvill/dean are their fans over-representing them?

I've always loved this performance by Scott Williams with choreo by Brian Wright to Savage Garden's Truly Madly Deeply! :encore: :swoon: Ah, those barrel rolls :inavoid:

And this is so creative from Scott (maybe Scott did his own choreo):

The days of pro competitions where exploration and creative growth reigned! :cheer2:

This is truly the 2017 IDF championship gold medal performance! :encore: :swoon:

It is rather strange that the judges in J/C's home country no less, saw fit to reward mistakes and a trash program with the gold medal, instead. :COP:  :duh: :drama:

I didn't remember who won, so I thought you were being sort of mean. Then I looked up who won and realized you were only being accurate.

For me it depends of periods in my life..
I had a period of watching Michelle Kwan's SP DOD over and over followed by her Rach SP (2 of my favorite SP ever!)
Other prograns that I have rewatched many times are Mirai Nagasu's POC, Nicole Bobek's Russian folk from Moiseyev Dances, Maria Buturskaya's 94 Euros LP (loved that music!) and lately Kaetlyn's Olympic LP (the real winner for me ? ) and Shoma Uno's 2017 Lombardia Throphy...

How could I forget this one ?‍♀️

Denkova/Staviski 2004 FD:

Not a big ice dance fan anymore but when this program came out in 2004 I was obsessed with it: I think I wore out my mother's VHS tape and I had memorised the choreography by heart.

Should have won Worlds!

Denis Ten. Yesterday, on his birthday, I should have sent this link. Oh Denis. He deserved to win worlds 2013. But what’s that compared to that he deserved to live. A long and happy life. I still cannot grasp that he’s gone. I’m still so angry. I’m still so sad for his family. Keep his memory, his magic alive. Please. I heard there is a new Denis Ten competition. I pray many will go as support of his legacy, to show his family the skating world doesn’t just text their respect but lives it by attending the competition.
