Sept. 25 article from the media summit in Park City, Utah, in which Jason addresses this very topic: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2017/09/25/256007960/from-the-summit-brown-livid-about-quad-troublesI don't get Jason's quad.
That... that was a 2A at the end, wasn't it?Jason had a fantastic FS run through. I watched. He landed a quad toe and both triple axels. Great jumps except a little slip on the triple loop.
I hope, as he says in the article, it's just the way the week is going. It occurred to me the other day that if it is the same psychological rut so many skaters seem to fall into, it's a much scarier rut than I thought! Existential crisis level.Jason seems to have no problems with confidence or nerves on anything else.

He comes to play. Interesting that he moved a 3A to the 2nd half, does all his combos in the 2nd half, trying to maximize points.
I agree. Jason is so incredibly naturally charismatic, and you pick that dreck for him???Wow, his music is snooze-inducing.
Jason picked Hamilton. He had to convince Kori and rohene. (Though I suppose I haven't heard who picked that particular song...but Jason seems pretty passionate about skating to it.)I agree. Jason is so incredibly naturally charismatic, and you pick that dreck for him???

The Hamilton program is fine for him.
This reinforces that Jason not at 100% still gets the elite level PCS and always a respectable finish. He’s been an asset to the US team and continues to be one. To me, he and Nathan are the two far and away locks for the Olympic team, barring injury.
Yeah, Max should be rewarded for his improvement. Idk what he did this summer to do it, but he's finally getting spin and step sequence level 3s and 4s called.
You are assuming the US ladies are going to rise up. Wish I had your optimism.IMO, the men are hitting their marks early in the season (unlike US ladies).
Nathan beat Yuzu to win RC. Jason has two 2d place finishes to Shoma this season, and set a SB at SC. Max had a PB at the US International Classic while finally doing 2 different types of quads and higher levels on spins. Vincent has shown he can execute 4 different types of quads in competition and won a silver at Finlandia, losing overall but actually beating Boyang in the LP. Adam had a respectable opening at Finlandia, first competition post-injury. Ross also improved by Finlandia.
I hope it continues.

You said they were slower than the men in hitting their mark. In my mind the mark was wss something they above what they were doing now .hence thr rise up. One also rises to expectations...rises to the occasion etc.Eh? I never say in my post that they will rise up. In fact, like you I am keeping my expectations low.
