Fun tidbit: Moss/Galbavy, last year's junior champs, were only one of two teams who practiced their SP. Everyone else did their free as they got less practice time with the schedule for this championship.

The dance chair permitted teams to run both their junior RD and FD if they wanted, but pairs had to chose one or the other.

There's nothing worse than Peanut M&Ms except Rollos and Milk Duds.

I said what I said. Unfortunately, probably going to miss a significant part of this event on my mid-day return home commute.

I'm enjoying the commentary from Ben & Gracie!

Also those who said this arena looked like SCOB were 100% spot on

Surely this rotating different directions for Kaplan & Griffin is not a viable long term strategy? Maybe they are just partnering together to get some experience until they find a permanent partner?

Also why didn't Moss & Galbavy move up to Seniors after winning Junior Nationals last year? They are basically doing Senior elements and I believe there is no age minimum at Nationals.

I wasn't watching, but it's nice to hear Kovar/McPike did so well. I don't think I've seen him since the Youth Olympics with Cayla Smith, and they were not exactly setting the world on fire. Good for him for improving!

Not sure why they didn't move up to seniors domestically since they've competed senior internationally this season already.

Juliet Meek and Devon Meeks younger brothers are handing out packages of M&Ms with the teams pictures on it before they take the ice. The younger brothers are adorable.

The Meeks are skating to the Baz Luhrmann R+J soundtrack, which is lovely music for a young team, though odd for a sibling team. Really nice SBS 2As, same with their jump combo - and especially well-synched for a mirror team.
