But who else would we have sent?
We've been over and over this. IMO, Jason just proved USFS right in their decision. He not only qualified for the long program but will be in the penultimate group despite the easier jumps and jump execution issues. (He's really frustrated with himself over the last jumping pass, but I do think this performance was better than his performances earlier in the season and the reality is that he probably would have qualified for the long even with a fall today.)
Camden was the first alternate for Worlds. His performance at Four Continents didn't exactly inspire confidence that USFS could count on him to deliver in the short at Worlds.
Jacob had problems with his axels in both programs at Jr. Worlds and who knows how he would have dealt with the stress of his first senior worlds with Olympic spots on the line.
I'm pulling for Andrew in the long program. He must be feeling a lot of pressure.
I hope the American men earn three Olympic spots and that there are three men next season who skate well enough to clearly earn spots on the Olympic team.
