1) YES - the mom should sue for full custody and the dad (for right now) should at most get supervised visitation.
2) Firearms are never meant to be toys. If you can’t own a firearm without making sure that this never happens, you should not be allowed to own one. Or be trusted with children.
3) And (as a good number of FSU knows) I’m saying this as someone who is fairly pro-2A and is an owner.

Aside - Any person holding and/or handling a gun should be held responsible for any adverse events IMO. I agree he did not mean to kill the person but notwithstanding it was his negligence that caused the death. If a person drinks and drives and accidentally kills someone, IMO that person is responsible even if they did not kill that person intentionally.

BTW, for this question - the ?? isn’t an option. The Americans’ latest military aid package only provides more ammunition, armor, and artillery - will not give tanks. The missile defense systems are still being argued about on Capitol Hill. SIGH.
