Rick was ranting and he needed a reset...quick knock to the head seems to have done the trick. High five to Michonne for that one...with Daryl out and about, she's the only one who can really control Rick. She's struggling like everyone else but she wants it to work so she's trying really hard. I don't doubt if stuff goes sideways she'll wise up, but for now she's trying to keep the peace.
Rick is barely hanging on by a thread. I definitely agree that he's caught up to if not surpassed Shane in the crazy to sane ratio. (Side note: I miss Shane...I really do. He went from zero to do-whatever-needs-to-be-done-at-any-cost-everything-else-be-damned guy too quickly; that's what was wrong with him. It's taken a while but Rick has finally caught up to that mentality. If it weren't for Lori...ah, never mind.) I do think Rick and Carol's approach to Dr. Pete Drunk-n-Beat is a bit extreme...but then again, they're operating completely on "out on the road" mentality where the only option is to kill the guy. I say, for the sake of keeping a medical doctor around, move the wife and kids out of the house, lock him up in the basement and let him sober up. Explain his options: get clean or stay down here and rot. That simple. Of course we know exiling is dangerous in this world b/c people come back with a vengeance...so you don't let him go. Deanna's husband knows how to build stuff---build a jail in one of the basements. I think he'd come around eventually. Have we ever actually seen the guy sober? Maybe he'd be more open to accepting the ultimatum if he weren't drunk as skunk.
Nice to see Carl getting a little action (if you can call it that)...hopefully that girl won't get him killed. She seems smart enough...
Carol is awesome. That is all.
Sasha is struggling. At this rate she's going to get herself killed. She got lucky Michonne and Rosita caught up to her when they did otherwise she'd have run out of bullets and been overrun by all of those walkers. She's gotta get a grip...
Daryl and other guy are closing in on whoever this "W" person is. He/she is a total sicko, that's for sure. Yvette Nicole Brown's theory on Talking Dead had crossed my mind as well (BTW, she's my favorite guest to have on the sofa...she's so perceptive!). It could be a "M" but then again, I couldn't see Morgan doing all of that. That was some pretty gruesome stuff...then again he was a little cuckoo crazy too. A lot of that going around this season...
I'm curious to see what's going to happen in the finale. I know that Nicolas guy is the one who took the gun...I feel like he's going to start some shit...and then it's all going to go down. But I really feel like if a fight breaks out between the group and the Alexandrians, it's going to be over really fast. Damn near everyone in the group is a marksman; the Alexandrians are sucky shots. IDK what's going to happen but I'm excited to find out.
I wonder who is going to die...I'm kinda worried about Glenn for some reason.
I'm surprised they only eliminated two characters. There is a finite number of characters the show can support and you can't add new without getting rid of old, so they took one of each. Based on the comics, there will be many more over the next two weeks before the season finale. It is interesting to see what they are doing to switch things up from the comics to keep all the fans interested.
