Awww, she was the cutest little girl, so adorable. It seems she took some piano lessons when she was a kid https://youtu.be/WdgrFoClL34?t=71 . And seeing her driving https://youtu.be/WdgrFoClL34?t=822 I remembered that I watched a video from someone living in Japan saying that it is difficult to get a driver license in Japan, well...compared with my country .

I may be wrong, but it now appears that there will be no more performances of Mao's The Ice 2017 shown which is such a shame. Does anyone know if there is a DVD or a place to pay and download performances for another show other than the first one like the second show for instance?

A new exhibition of Mao (the exhibition includes costumes, photos, skating shoes and medals from Mao. There are about 100 pieces of them and all are select by Mao herself) launches today @ Takashimaya (department store) in Tokyo. And Mao showed up at the opening of the Ex.

so pretty!! I love her style. When will the tour go to Mexico? . Does not she have a permanent exhibition in Japan? I would like to go to Japan someday, but it definitely won´t be before April.

Here is a 4K resolution copy of Mao's Sochi LP. I noticed that it was posted the day that Mao announced her retirement and that the view count is high considering when it was posted more than 3 years after the performance. Since so many wonderful comments were removed when Mao's two most watched videos were taken down showing my all time favorite Olympic moment, I hope more will come to view this video and leave comments about how much this performance inspired them.

Now that Mirai landed the 3a in an international competition and it seems that only 8 women did it, and some people want include to kimmie who did it at nationals, I can not help being in awe that Mao landed 4 beautiful 3a in the damn Olympic Games , what a legend .

Also, there was a radio talk show from yesterday, in which Mao was interviewed (the show was recorded last week, when Mao showed up at the opening of Takashimaya Ex). During the interview, she talked about what she had been up to before/after the announcement of retirement, her thoughts on the retirement, her skating career and future prospects. I will try to provide some translation later on (or if someone feels like to translate is welcome to do so!).

No, it won't be sooner, I don't think so. As the account serves as 'official' account, my guess is that there will be updates only when she shows up in events and/or other PR activities. It doesn't work much as a personal account or something like that. (Hint: I'd rather follow Kanako's instagram for more frequent updates, as the two so often hanging out together now! )
