Maybe the booty shift was too much for some Gen Zer's sensibilities and they needed a trigger warning.

There's one for Papadakis and Cizeron, too. And while that may be the blandest a sparkly costume can be, it really doesn't require any warnings.

I too prefer this dress and think it was a good call to change it. For once I would like to see Guillaume in a shirt that isn't transparent or open to show his chest. Looking forward to see how their FD resonates with me here because the last two outings I found it very boring and couldn't get into it. Can't wait to finally see S/B! Should be a great dance event.

They should bring everything to win Olympic gold, and Guillaume's chest is a big part of that.

(It's fine, I always have opposite opinions on dresses to most people here! I like Caroline Green's FD look, too.)

I kind of agree. I think the more muted tones fit the mood and seemed more modern
I’ll have to see it on TV, but this costumes seems too flashy/glittery for the tone of the music and movement

I don’t find S and B dance trashy at all from what I saw.
Not sure how a dance to the BSB constitutes trashy over many of the other music choices.

This is just coming off as sour grapes to me.

Like I said, it seems weird that S and B are being derided for their program or music choice when it doesn’t seem to be any better/ worse then other music choices.

It wasn’t clear to me that it was a term of endearment

But I guess I still don’t get the “trashy “ reference regarding them as opposed to other teams.

BSB is 100% trashy, and I love it, and made me realise how much I've missed S&B! Definitely no shade intended, it's a genius choice for this RD.

I love what I see from that RD from S&B, it's fun. Hard to judge the quality of skating in that video, but at least, it's fun.

I still think this year's RD is a big big miss. The rules are too tight for street dances, yet it's impossible to compare them alltogether.

I care but I’ve accepted it as part of a trend that’s been happening with the SDs and then formalized with the RDs. Sigh.

I haven't watched this yet, but I've called so many teams trashy and it's definitely a term of endearment for me. I hope for it to be trashy in the best way. That's the only way to survive ice dance sometimes.
