It wouldn't surprise me if quiet word has gone out to tech panels for these last 3 senior Bs (Bavarian Open, Egna Dance Trophy & Challenge Cup) to be strict with levels.
It wouldn't surprise me if quiet word has gone out to tech panels for these last 3 senior Bs (Bavarian Open, Egna Dance Trophy & Challenge Cup) to be strict with levels. There are already 36 likely entries for Worlds which translates to 8 warm-up groups and we know that the ISU's preferred sweet spot for the number of warm-up groups at Worlds is 6. It will be interesting to see how the TES mins are utilized next year when we have the re-introduction of the Qualifying Rounds at Worlds.

Blasphemy!36 is a lot of teams - those early group rhythm dances will be a long watch.

When the season ends, there will have been exactly enough.Blasphemy!
There can NEVER be enough 80s RDs!!!![]()

The theme of the rhythm dance isn't really relevant to the quality of the early flights at worlds. What do you remember about the first flight of the rhythm dance from last year's World Championships?Blasphemy!

It matters not.The theme of the rhythm dance isn't really relevant to the quality of the early flights at worlds. What do you remember about the first flight of the rhythm dance from last year's World Championships?

Same!!!It matters not.
All 80s is good 80s.
And the best part about figure skating is bad ice dance.
So winner winner chicken dinner.
Nothing will stop me from seeing those early round RDs.![]()

That and usually I haven’t seen these RDs yet, so I get something fresh and new. The later groups may skate better but their programs are already stale to me by Worlds.I always enjoy the early flights, those who won't make the FD. Its the only chance to see them!

Oliver/Bojanowski are leading the ranking so it'll probably be themNo TES mins earned today in the RD at Challenge Cup, so the Worlds field should be set at the 36 teams listed below, barring any injury WDs.
Pucherova/Lysak have mentioned on their IG in the last week that their season is over so it would seem that Simova/Aksenov have been assigned to Worlds. Haven't seen any announcement for the Polish team (best guess Polibina/Golovishnikov).
Me too. I've been rooting for them since Savitskiy's Nebelhorn commentary a couple of years ago - so impressive for a teenager to call a whole event in a second language (and I like their skating too).Really happy to see Grimm & Savitskiy finally make the JWC podium.
2nd language, or 3rd language - his parents are both recent immigrants to Germany so I presume he speaks Russian as well.Me too. I've been rooting for them since Savitskiy's Nebelhorn commentary a couple of years ago - so impressive for a teenager to call a whole event in a second language (and I like their skating too).
I don't think I've ever seen this before but the Cypriots didn't get any points for his twizzle in the free skate. It's not listed as base - it's listed as SyTwW4+SyTwM. He did stumble out of the first twizzle, but completed the second one, and was initially given a level 2.Angelina Kudryavtseva/Ilia Karankevich ??
Synchronized Twizzles W:4 M: (no level is listed on the protocol for Ilia)

absolutely but I would've had them in 2nd overall if I'm being honestReally happy to see Grimm & Savitskiy finally make the JWC podium.
I hope this means we'll see them competing for a very long time! This just in: The baby Brits like being called the baby Brits and "hope to keep this title all the way into our 30s."
