Solene Mazingue has been posting on her IG story today about her doctor's appointment yesterday following the fall she had on the ice last week where she hit her head again. She now has a second concussion and is off the ice for the time being. :(

Smart/Dieck have been posting a few videos from training and I really think I might be on that train… I’m quite excited about them and what they’re going to bring and seeing them attempting difficult off ice lifts fills me with hope!

(Think they are now on vacation - perhaps because the Hubbell/Diaz wedding is next week according to Madi’s Instagram)

Utana Yoshida and Masaya Morita are a new ice dance team for Japan, as announced by the Kinoshita Academy: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cs-OvtxJRe1/
Both will be 20 this fall - she on September 6 and he on November 16.

She previously competed with Shingo Nishiyama (who recently teamed up with Azusa Tanaka), and he with Nao Kida (their split was announced in April).

Another new team at IAM Montreal: Kayleigh Maksymec / Felix Desmarais, who will represent Switzerland. (Previously he skated with Eliane Foroglou-Gadoury for Canada)

Oh I was wondering where did Felix go… love their Ocean & Sailor FD from last season choreographed by Mylene Girard. Hope Eliane will find another partner soon…

Last I heard, Layla Karnes (USA/GBR dual citizenship) is still training at I.AM Ontario and looking for a partner.
Finally a new partner for Layla Karnes: Liam Carr, who previously skated with Maia Iannetta. Looks like they'll be competing for GBR.

2024 Euros are a not-to-miss-comp for me! The fight for the top 10 is going to be so fierce if we also add the #2 teams from Finland, Czechia and UK.

Is there anyone who went last year who would have missed this cutoff? Seems reasonable to me.
From a quick sweep of Skating Scores and ISU Bios, I think the following teams would've missed out on Worlds? (with the score they're missing in brackets):
Shilling/Baeten (RD/FD)
Verhaegh/Van Geffen (RD)
Carhart/Kolosovskyi (RD)
Mazingue/Gaidajenko (FD)
Ipolito/Russell (RD)
Ramanauskaite/Kizala (RD/FD)
Chen/Xing (RD)
Nauryzova/Batiev (RD/FD) - this team do have both mins, as noted below by @Karen-W

Not quite.

Nauryzova/Datiev have the TES mins for both portions. The rest would have missed out.

As a fellow Brit not blessed with modern language skills,  at Olivia speaking Spanish.

But I'm glad that everything's been confirmed and I'm looking forward to seeing them next season. They both have such big performance energy but Tim's programmes with Kati Müller mostly made me cringe and Smart/Diaz took a long time to find their groove, so I'm interested to see what this team end up with.

Add country swap teams Davis/Smoklin and Soucisse/Firus (who are confirmed as competing at the Irish Championship this weekend) and it's going to be a bloodbath in the best possible sense.

Romain Haguenauer was quoted in a June 4 matchtv.ru article that I found re. Cimlova/Cirisano:
- Dario and Denisa trained with me for three weeks as guest skaters - as planned. I taught them the sense of partnership, sliding, new elements, presentation skills and so on. We did not do choreography and programs.
Everyone was satisfied with the joint work, I will be glad to see these skaters again. I can't say anything about Denisa and Dario's future plans, because they are not members of our academy. I just don’t know when and where they will be able to perform,” Haguenauer told Match TV.

Looks like there have been a couple more splits in junior dance: Thomas Gipoulou (FRA) and Chaima Ben Khelifa (CAN) are now on IPS. A lot of churn in Canadian junior dance this off season.
I liked Chaima with her partner. :(

Couple questions:

Are Gauthier & Thieren continuing? I feel like I read an update on this team, but I couldn't find anything when looking through the Canadian thread so perhaps I confused them with another team.

Do we have confirmation yet on Morozov's new partner? I've seen rumor, but not sure if there was ever confirmation?
