Not sure if this sad news belongs here or in the Memorium thread. Minnesota Vikings rookie (drafted in the 4th round) and his two former classmates were killed in a car accident yesterday.

So tragic. Just 24 years old. I couldn't believe it.

I'll have to agree to disagree on this. I think McCarthy needs a little seasoning before the Vikes make him QB1. And as of this moment, JJ hasn't even signed his rookie contract. So he could miss the start of training camp if something isn't done with that soon.

Yep—I would prefer experience first and give the kid time to learn. It certainly worked for Mahomes even as a lot of the talking heads griped about it.
