Only one coach can be accredited per athlete/team. For coaches with multiple students going, they can all get accredited, but not with just one. For example, Eteri, Sergei and Danill can all go because they have Evgenia, Alina and Moris.

Ahhhh, too bad. Thanks for the info! If only Perkova made the Olympics team, then Glinka could have been accredited! :rollin:

Is this really true? cause Buyanova has only Sotskova and Tagaeva is also accredited.

Bronze is going to be brutal if everybody skates their best. If, however, this is the typical Olympics where they don't, it's still going to be brutal because who knows who'll skate the least worst. I'm still rooting for Tarasova/Morosov for many reasons, but if James/Cipres nail both programs and get on the podium, I'll be fine.

The Canadian athletes talked about it. At the last Olympics, Bruno Marcotte wasn't accredited for D/R because Richard Gauthier was. He just bought his own ticket to go and watch. Meagan said it's the same this year. And Madison Hubbell also talked about it on H/D's media conference call. One coach per student. Are you sure Tagaeva is actually accredited? Because sometimes coaches who aren't so go.

Well sure, but the country naming them doesn't mean they are officially accredited. Canada listed both Marie-France and Patrice among their official coaches, but technically Patrice is actually accredited for Madi and Zach with the US, not with Canada.

I mean maybe they are accredited. I'm just going based on what I've heard multiple athletes say the rules are.

Well it does say the IOC registered 189 officials for the Olympics including 80 trainers. She's apart of that 80 (well 79 now). So I think that's why people assume she will be there. But no biggie ;)

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) registered 169 athletes and 189 officials as part of the delegation of "Olympic athletes from Russia" to participate in the Olympic Games -2018 in South Korea's Pyeongchang, 80 trainers will leave for the Olympics...

So what happens if a miracle occurs and thhe US wins? :watch:

I have a feeling strange things are going to happen.

I am all for #Italy4TeamBronze. Mostly because it will cause massive trauma to US fans. Go Team :cheer2:

I used to be all with you, but now that it's (almost?) confirmed Adam is doing the FS I have to go with my Glittery Grindr Fairy Bird!

Especially as H/D are not doing the team event anyways :EVILLE::EVILLE::EVILLE:
Are you going to cry when youknowwho biffs the twizzles?

That being said, I fear all of us are going to need support animals and alcohol over the next two weeks. As my Poodles are not overly sympathetic about anything that doesn't directly impact them, I'm looking at my wine stock.
