I just realised that Kevin must have been removed because the French selection criteria for Euros include landing a quad in competition. So he skates clean-ish programs and beats Ponsart twice and can't go, Ponsart lands a quad once and barely any other jumps all season and gets selected

Well, the same thing was true last season & they sent Aymoz. So who knows if that is really the reason?

I have to say, if Ross decides to continue, I am fine with him competing at 4CC's; if he decides to call it a career after this season, I wish #BossMiner would end with the stunning skate at nationals. This would be an awesome final chapter (I am just seeing the silver and ignoring the aftermath).

Birnberg even has really similar basics and poses to Kotting (although not nearly as much wristflick), and even slightly better jumps.

She already is, no matter if she ends up with a third Bronze with her new servant, she has Rodnina/Dmitriev status by now: A pair skater that does not need a specific partner to shine.
