Skate Canada 2024 Pairs SP PBP - Is That a Giant Moose Head in Your Pocket Or Are You Just Glad to See Me?

SDDes - oh, that's right, another breathy song. 3tw - good; SBS 3t - his landing was hella sus, to go complete NorCal on everyone here, lol. Throw 3lo - her free foot came down on the landing; SBS spins - close and decently synched. Her dress is only slightly less unattractive than Madi Chock's FD dress. These moans to end on the DS? That's a choice. This SP is eminently beatable.

Ugh. I love Deanna (and Max by extension) but when I tell you I HATE this program...

Literally does nothing to set them apart, they will be resorted down to normal GOE and PCS all year with this, probably fighting to be on the World podium.

Stellato/Deschamps: "Oh no, oh no, oh no" isn't the words you want to hear when watching pairs. :p Lovely twist. His sbs was UR. 3 THR two footed, and Canadian obviously pressed +5 based on the first TES score that came up. :saint: Nice steps.

Ugh, this Beyonce cut is pretty awful.

I don’t think that’s how figure skating judging works. :shuffle:
Their PCS was behind the Germans at Nebelhorn (who were skating at home) and here it was so-so for a World Champion team on home ice. I mean Malinin gets a big PCS bonus as World Champ :p

I don't think there's excitement in this program, and the elements don't stand out. Let's see how they score in a non-Canada GP. 7.75 and 8.00 in the protocols here, too.

Howarth is drunk off with ANL. He hasn't seen them skate better than that? Half of the elements were negative GOE
Just gonna call this out regarding ChanHowe and their GOE - this was a gross exaggeration. In real time they only had 2 elements with negative GOE - the SBS 3t that she doubled and the death spiral - and it stayed that way on review. And the lift you thought was ugly got a +1.09 GOE. Don't make me come at you about ChanHowe. I uber them in US pairs the way I uber CarPon in US ice dance.

G/GM train in Montréal now?
Yes. Details are in the interview posted in both the Australian news & Pairs general discussion threads.

Well I like Chan/Howe too but even I thought her bent leg in the lift was ugly. :P

Okay my bad, plus a SBS spin that barely got positive GOE. Of course the lift got GOE, they don't judge it based on a hideous position. I still stand by that :p

I mean, it wasn't the greatest, but I can't hate on it the way we all, uniformly, hate on LaurEth's gyno lift right to the "don't put me on display" lyrics last season, or any of the IceLab teams whose platter lift tilt around wildly as the guy rotates.

I thought about going  I've been traveling almost non-stop for the last two months though and I still have luggage unpacked from Europe.

I am eyeing the Grand Prix Final, even with the long journey it would take to get there.
Worlds 2025 Boston!!
