OMG... Chris mangled Riku's name in the skater intros "Riko" and now Ryuichi is "Ree-oo-shoo" - mark "badly mangles skater's name" off your cards!

ETA - he's said Ryuichi's name three different ways in this warm up so far. "Rye-shoo" was the latest.

I remember one time that he was reminiscing about a pairs couple winning a medal in 2010 that he was very impressed with. I was trying to figure out if it was a new skating couple because he was calling them 'Chin & Zahoe'. When he finally mentioned that it was the Gold Medal, I realized he was talking about Shen & Zhao.

I don't think he's actually that tall but he looks tall in-person too lol

I walked behind them at Worlds and couldn't believe how tiny Riku was. I'm only 4'11, and she seemed to be 4'9, barely 4'10 at most and very thin. He didn't seem anywhere near 6 feet tall. It was like when I first saw Kristi Yamaguchi skating at a local rink-- from afar, I thought she was a talented 12-year old kid out there skating.
