Do you mean a quad Loop? Because a toe loop without the pick is a loop.
Nope, I meant Salchow. He shifts over to tap in so quick that it looks like a Salchow, the same thing that Kvitelashvili did for so long and people started questioning late in his career. Eldredge and Kirk also had similar techniques

Unlike you night owl diehards, I have to have my beauty sleep 😴

So thrilled for Torgy again!!!! And in a very tough field. Smack on the judges for still being stingy with the PCS. His footwork sequence is so cool. I was standing up and clapping even with the turnout in the combo.

Kao and Yuma blew the roof off the place. So happy for the Japanese audience to witness that live. So Yuma has never been my cup of tea artistically or style wise. But he sure is so fun to watch for his mastery of the blade. And he is looking much more mature and his artistry is coming along. Kao is too much slam bam for me. Head is always a bit forward and not the best line or posture. However, he is super exciting and I enjoy him too and appreciate what he does.

I throughly enjoyed Tomoki’s skate. His quirkiness and quickness are super interesting. But his jumps are not getting the job done and neither are his spins. But that Russian split 👏👏👏

Jason…well I love Jason for his all around skating and the beauty, artistry and maturity in it. Jumps are not back yet. Except that flip was glorious. But I never tire of watching him and give him major props to keep going at 29.

Didn’t understand how Rizzo scored in the 80’s.

I love Yuma and Kao, great to see them both do so well. Kao has improved his spins so much since last season, he is definitely not satisfied with JPN #2 (3). Hope whatever his injury is he gets some time to heal after this.

I would be fine with Ilia, Adam and 4 Japanese men at the GPF.

Just finished watching the men's SP. WOWZERS!! I'm on such a high after all that. What a difference from last week!! I think everyone else has already said everything there is to say. SO many great skates and then a couple (Yuma and Kao) that were phenomenal. Now, events like THIS are what keeps me such a huge fan of this remarkable sport. I'm almost afraid to watch the ladies now .... how could they possibly match the excellene of this???

I'm happy with that podium. Wish Yuma had skated better but so does he. Better the errors come here than at the GPF, Nationals or Worlds. And, now I have to get out of bed and set up for the women.
