Skate Canada 2024 Mens FS PBP - I'm Knit a Vampire

Daring to put the 4T as the sixth jumping pass. Definitely not all the way around.

Both programs have a softer quality this season and I like them. I agree with Chris that the 4S to open had a suspect rotation, but otherwise really nice. Very understated skater.

"oh, what a shame!"

FWIW - that fall on the last quad won't cost him a podium spot. The program was boring compared to Cha and I'd rather have Cha on the podium, but I don't think it'll matter.

Yamamoto: 3R. 4S(UR). 4T/3T. 3A/E/3S nice. lovely spread eagle sequence. Fly camel. 3A easy. 4T (UR, fall out). 3F/2A. Fast flowing footwork sequence to this choral music. Sit spin. Combo spit to end.

Love the program, but too many errors. This will fall behind LOCO LOCO LOCO Cha.

Shirt aside, I’m still thinking about Cha. Yamamoto skated, right?

Yamamoto still feels “generic Japanese male skater” to me. He’s a very good skater in the Shoma model. Only personality was that final hand gesture. I’d like to see him kind of break that 4th wall and show us some personality.
