G/P: OMG this choreography is so LITERAL already... Some of their connections in and out of elements are still a bit rough, like they've recently made some changes. I don't know... it did nothing for me and I usually like most of their programs, although they've been downhill since Joni Mitchell. Sigh.

This is a really well choreographed FD for Paul and Piper At this early stage I think it's the best of their rivals.
eta.. I am not including LaLa as their rival at this stage as judges don't seem to want to go with two Canadian dance teams on podiums and I think G/P have strong programs this year that the status quo won't change.

Loved their RD. This was both weird and boring. See LopBri for lessons on how to mesmerize with weird stuff but I’d have them in third.

I've been working on non-Chris BINGO but it's harder to get as many choices as we have for Chris.

I laughed at the cartwheels and seasick choreography, but in a good way.

I haven't seen the Italians FD yet. So far, I think that Chock and Bates have the best FD of the top 4, and that is saying something, because I did not like it that much. The rest of the top 10-15 is mostly much better than the top 4.

I liked that: it was enough WTF to make me smile. I also really liked the tango character step, probably because their tango program FD is my favorite of theirs. An exception to the rule character step.

ETA: Poirier looks like a middle-aged dad in that thing, dressed as something for an adult Halloween party.

I think he's doing at least one more - Mark said during the JGP that he's only doing commentary for GPdF, Finlandia and the GPF - so he's handling Europe. So, that leaves NHK & CoC for either Ted or Chris.

Wow just loved that from Lajoie/Lagha! I personally think they are better than Sound of Silence, but it shows how amazing they are that they made this program work and got the biggest applause and standing O of the entire event. Much bigger audience reception than even Piper and Paul! I want them ahead of F/G at the minimum this year and ideally on the podium, but I know it won’t happen.

It's interesting, I don't think Lala's FD is really worthy of them? But it's still better than most and I think it'll be very successful.
