MiuKih - another remarkably inspired music choice! Huge 3tw! SBS 3t - very far apart but they were done, so yeah... Their signature lift - fine; throw 3f - swishy! SBS spins - not too shabby. This goes to disaster movie soundtrack instrumental dark version of "Paint it Black" for the step sequence and he's realllllllly stretching for that death spiral, lol. That's going to lead by a HUGE margin.

Miura/Kihara: Beautiful 3tw. SBS 3t, she maybe a touch short. Beautiful lift, but recycled. Throw 3 lutz, excellent great flow out. SBS spins a bit slow and far apart. Superb speed in the steps. Good death spiral to finish. Will lead... by a lot.

I'm going to sound like a Pollyanna, but this was an amazingly well-skated event!

The level of pairs across the board has really stepped up from just a couple of seasons ago.

(Maybe the LPs will be a disaster. We'll see. )
