Trankov and Aljona. This would have been a partnership of this century.
We all just can imagine what energy and spirit this pair would have had.
I love you Bruno

I have never heard about it. What happened?Y'all remember what happened when he tried out with Stolbova LOL. I have a feeling it would've been the same with Aliona.

I'm not sure if this article is available anywhere else on the forum, but it's worth a repeat.
German pairs skater named 2017-18 icenetwork Person of the Year
Congratulations, Aljona!![]()
Definitely not if you look at the major stuff. They have the same Olympic medal record, but Savchenko has more world titles and medals and more ISU championship medals (European skaters don't skip Euros as often as non-European skaters skip 4CC).
I believe the senior ISU championship medal records are as follows among living skaters:
Rodnina 21
Savchenko 20
Kostner 17
Joubert 16
Plushenko 15
Szolkowy 15
Virtue/Moir 14
Not counting team medals, Rodnina has the strongest Olympic record, followed by Virtue/Moir and then Plushenko.
Trankov with Stolbova or Savchenko? I suppose there would have been constant fighting. LOL. I remember reading an interview with Ingo Steuer at some point years ago and he said about Aljona. "One just doesn't stand in her way" meaning she was the one calling the shots. And the "Stolbova stare"is famous by now.

Coaching Hocke/BlommaertMaybe I'm dumb (OK, that's a given), but I can't figure out what Aljona is hinting at in her latest post: https://www.instagram.com/p/BihMhrGBgNa/?taken-by=aljonasavchenko
She's coaching a pairs team? They're going to pioneer trio skating? She's becoming a professional shoelace bedazzler?
I told you for the last four years she's had her eye on Blommaert.Coaching Hocke/Blommaert![]()
Bruno is moving to La chaux de Fonds. He is going to become a coach.
Interview in French. http://www.canalalpha.ch/emissions/...stian-binggeli-president-neuchatel-xamax-fcs/
Moving permanently or just for the season? (This would be a good indicator of whether they're returning)
Ladies and gentlemen, the internet is now over. Please make sure you have all your personal belongings before exiting. There is nothing left to say: https://www.instagram.com/p/BikeTPslfk5/?taken-by=aljonasavchenko

According to the invitation it is Munich: https://eislauf-union.de/files/users/bettgenhaeuser/Einladung.pdfAljona and Bruno have a press conference scheduled in Berlin tomorrow (May 17).
Awesome news! Wonder if pink or blue ballloons are in order?
Recently announced as a mini-Bruno. Aljona's new partner in 2038?
I'm going to go way out on a limb here and predict that the baby's name will NOT be Didier.
