I've seen this video being referenced a million times a) I'm not sure why you are taking this instructional video as a definitive bible, I'm not even sure ISU does (yes, I'm aware it's an instructional video BY ISU from like the 80s) b) there is once again nothing in here explicitly addressing pre-rotation at X degrees as "cheating". BTW the "overrotated takeoff" error (curved edge and loose rotational position) isn't the even really the same thing as pre-rotation But again, be my guest if you want to consider this as some kind of definitive source of proof.

Yeah, the top half says, "I'm ready to go to the law firm and work," the bottom half says, "luckily, I'm on Zoom all day and I'll be dressed for partying as soon as I take off my jacket after work." I think she just forgot that she was supposed to take off the jacket.

The skirt on its own is nice, but not on her. Her legs looks like sticks in the skirt. It reminds me like legs of old lady. There is nothing wrong with the skirt, or with the legs, but just not together.

We have to disagree here. You can also see how they train these jumps of ice to understand the technique. Prerotation should matter a lot. That’s cheating, whoever the skater is. It’s way easier to have great air position when you use this technique.

"Her old school", so she's going back to Sambo? At least it sounds like a mutual amicable goodbye, so hopefully no drama in the weeks to come.

For those who can't access Insta. Plushenko posted that his contract with Alexandra Trusova ended today and by mutual agreement, they decided not to renew. He says they remain friends and that the team at AoP wishes her success. He also says he hopes her new club ("old-new") can fulfill the promises they offered. Again, no mention of Sambo, but I can't think of what old-new can mean. Unless we get a Danill "we didn't decide yet" post in the next few hours lol.

I saw that, and I'm guessing it was directed at Alena (I wouldn't call those interviews humiliating. Overly apologetic and borderline scripted? Sure). Not very classy, Plushy, not very classy.

Something must be amiss with his system so many coaches AND students leaving? But could parental interferance and politrics also play a role? Does Trusova's father feel this is her only ticket to the OGs? Hunger Games cannot begin to describe the Russian context. Wowza!

Nonetheless, I feel sorry even embarrassed for him. I hope he can draw the right conclusions and move on. Give no promises to any parents and leave ET 's students ALONE. Yikes.

Edit: So the program(s) delivered by Morozov must have been a bust? So all that jibberish and talk about Nathan Chen's coach being a consultant was also a waste?

Who would be stupid enough to move to AoP now? His school is hemorrhaging skaters and coaches alike. I think Plushenko will give up the charade of being a top coach because it has to hurt his narcissistic pride. He will focus on his clone and go back to putting on shows.

Better to let the actual coaches like Mikhailov, Lipnitskaya, Rozanov, etc run the school and work himself as a consultant. Everybody cannot go to ET.

TT just does not have enough coaches for the three novice girls turning Junior and for six or seven amazing senior ladies and all the guys in boys they have and they just got the pairs team they're going to work with the queen of coaches needs to add to her staff and I say bring young Sergey back and maybe bring Sasha's real Coach at PA there.

It's the pressure of making the Olympic team that made aliona and Sasha go back to TT I don't think either would have done it if it wasn't the Olympic season coming up.

I don't know what happens to plushie now I guess he will just develop some of the kids he has there and try to maybe bring in a top male in Russia. Plushie losing aliona was not that devastating but losing Sasha is.

Plushy had the most amazing opportunity here, and he blew it. It's ridiculous that with all the talented ladies in Russia, there are only two top ladies' coaches. He had an opportunity to set himself up as #3, and he just blew it.
