patella strap - my daughter had to wear one when she was a competitive athlete at that age it relieves the pain associated with patellar tendonitis and Osgood-Schlatter disease - which of course now we realize was basically an over training issue.

Didn’t have time and opportunity to watch everyone, but caught some of the boys. Really liked Ugozhaev (1st after SP) and Golubev had some interesting choreo moments. Also both Chebotareva boys - Smirnov and Zonov - have pretty good basics, as usual with her skaters. I especially liked Smirnov, who doubled the lutz and finished only 10th, but has nice gliding and presence.

In general, boys showed a great variety of music - from Murka to Marilyn Manson

Russian Cup event #2 starts in a week and a half. No official shedule yet, but seniors will be competing on Saturday/Sunday. Senior event will be open for public but very limited number of tickets will go on sale.

Channel 1 will show everything on their website and YouTube, as always.

Tarasova/Morozov withdrew from the event. Sinitsina/Katsalapov should be there - Nikita has recovered after his back injury.

Also, I saw in an article that "the number of seats in Megasport this time will be seriously limited - there will be fewer spectators than at the September test skates, and the fans will be admitted to the stands in compliance with all sanitary standards. Spectators will only be admitted to adult competitions on Saturday and Sunday."

There's no way T/M will be at this Cup event. Vladimir only got back on the ice this past Monday. They missed Test Skates because their LP wasn't ready, then Vladimir got the `rona so there's a lot of catching up to do.

And why so few pairs only? There are so many out there.
